In double digit ranks Wild is a lot more diverse, entertaining, and friendly (much less BM) than Standard. Just this week alone I've faced two The Ancient One decks, one Rogue with Shadowcaster and one Priest with Herald Volazj. I don't want to make a habit of it but I was actually smiling when I lost to the Rogue deck when I had no answer for that miniscule 30/30 minion.
As you approach Legend the decks tend to become more cutthroat; but that's true of Standard as well. I think a lot of people are just afraid of Wild. And Blizzard also showed a lot of favoritism for Standard as their own sanctioned tournaments are Standard-only. Heck, until the streamers and tournament players complained they weren't even going to let Quests be completed in Wild. I prefer Wild myself; in part because Priest, my favorite class, is much more competitive in that environment.
I truly wish more folks would give Wild a chance -- if only for the diversion. Especially when the meta settles in Standard and becomes decidedly boring.
Standard is balanced, that is actually the best joke i've ever heard. Please play wild and don't talk about what other pros blabbering about. Wild is absolutely balanced, far more than standard.
Of course it is not, and it's hardly a matter of opinion. Bigger matchup dependence and more OP cards... It's better for you maybe if you are unable to climb in Standard cos it's harder, in Wild you can just take Secret Pally and ggwp legend :) Trust me been there, seen meta inside out:
In standard most matchups are between 50-50 40-60 which you can see on insane number of games tracked by vicious syndicate, also not a matter of opinion, while Wild is a mess. Also learn to read, I didn't say "Standard is balanced" I said "Standard is much more balanced than Wild" and there is a difference even tho you might be unable to see it. It's comparison between two modes.
I like how you quote statistics for standard and then use anecdotal bullshit for wild. That's so friggin intellectually dishonest that words should be unnecessary.
Anyway, if there is only secret pally then wild is easy mode... because unlike friggin shaman in standard, SP has plenty of counters in a multitude of classes.
Rank 4 in last season in Wild. Even Patron Warrior doesnt run Dr.Boom sometimes :D

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Because I don't have the cards to expand into a wider variety of fun decks like Murloc Shaman for instance.
Mech Mage is fun for a while though.
