Playing Wild-ranked mode and determined to get to legend? Just hit legend and want to share your story or advice? Post your Wild successes and struggles for S28!
Although don't play wild myself, I am sure that it is still relevant to the format to pick a deck you are most confident playing or having the most success with and sticking with it! Your win-rate will thank you.
Also I will mention this will be the designated monthly thread for wild players while the original in the general discussion forum will be moving to the standard forum for season 29!
Just hit the legend with combination of secret pally, tempo mage, little bit midrange hunter and freeze mage.
It took 10 days to get 5th rank and 16 days to get legend (I have very limited time except weekends I play for 1.5 hours max) so grind is real.
3 days from rank 1 to legend because of the overwhelming numbers of hunters equipped with flares or eater of secrets. The force is strong with the Freeze Mage at the moment.
I just recently (last night) swapped from L-Standard over to R25 Wild; while I'm only currently sitting on R14 it's already so much more enjoyable, though I'm sure most of that enjoyment stems from being able to play Priest.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Same thing happen to me when I switched to wild. Meta is much more enjoyable and people try different decks. Priest is viable in wild. God I missed lightbomb!
#5 legend on NA, played zoolock from 16 to 5 then renolock after that. I dont use a tracker but keep a spreadsheet of my opponents decks/rank and also spectate my friends to do the same. One interesting thing I've noticed from doing is the dramatic difference in deck choices at various times of day.
Anyway, I'm always looking for people at semi high rank to be friends with and spectate games, preferably rank 3 and up but 5 is also fine. Battletag is Hurryupidiot #1348
Played NZoth RenoLock and Patron warrior to rank 4. Renolock seems bad for 4+ rank because of hunters, Patron doing ok but the grind is boring. Will get to rank 3 probably and stop. Time to visit Arena - new adventure incoming!
Swapped to wild for the first time since STD came out this season. Loved how diverse the meta was and went for legend for the first time ever (I always have stopped at r5 each month). Made N'Zoth Secret Pally tuned to meta... and cut through like butter somehow. Deck may be a bit cheese/cancer but damn does it work.
EU side, hit Legend with about a 70-80% winrate, think i lost a single game from 3 to Legend to some face Shaman. More than 30% of my games were vs hunters, i think it's the best and most popular deck in Wild right now. Fun fact: didn't meet a single Druid, zero, nada. Wondering if anyone tried Token Yogg in Wild, i know you need better removal in Wild but it should do decent in the least.

Well. Stopped after reading secret paladin. Hope you are proud to hit legend with a deck even my grandma could hit legend with
Yep, the deck is definitely pretty easy to play and forgiving of user error. I am not claiming to be a great player or anything, no need to hate. That being said, both aggro shaman (i went 1-4) and freeze mage (i went 3-3) seem to have a solid match-up against the deck, everything else seemed favored for secret pally (based on my small sample of games).
I played a few more games and just took the deck to #2 legend spot with overall record of 53-20.
I hit a wall at rank 8 with NZoth Priest; last month I hit rank 5 with about 4 days to spare. I've about had enough of ranked mode, seriously fuck ladder. Nothing but bad matchups and opponents drawing flawlessly. To give you an idea, I'm running 2x of every AoE and single target removal, besides Shadow Word: Horrible, and still was not able to outdraw most opponents.

Here is my favorite deck
Thx mate. Yeah playing freeze mage on the go is an absolute nightmare. I missed leathal couple of times because of little distruptions.

Grind is real between ranks 3-1 on EU. Lots of hunters check my deck for torch freeze mage mate.
just zoolock
many counters there but zoo work fine with 0 tech
good tech
crazed alchemist - deathlord and doomsayer sometime it become damage boost
loatheb turn7 vs hunter called and unleash, freeze mage, lightbomb
kezan - usually too slow and rarely get in hand when need it
those tech may slow down you deck
lower chance to get good hand
ofc it just a luck and chance

I went 41-16 from rank 5 > #16 legend in NA.
