was trying classic handlock for quite a while and decided some cards were just bad in the current meta, so I changed it up a bit. The watchers sucked, and against most decks you couldn't afford to go low enough to make them useful (exceptions are druids and the mirror, but they can afford to keep you at high health). Sunfury obviously also wasn't justifiable once I cut those. The hellfire was strictly only good against zoo warlock - but only if they play stupid. Doomsayer was much stronger against them and much more useful in other matches.
I uploaded images of legend and the decklist to the post, couldn't figure how to make it part of the post itself.
Holy shit how many ours did you play to get legend? Did we all get 2 bonus stars in Classic or did you have more? I like classic mode but i don't think i'm gonna play this much to hit legend at least this month.
Does the Rank for classic Reset the 1st of the month?
Which seems contradictory to deck's goal, a lot of the time you want to do nothing on turn one to get out your Mountain Giant on turn 3/4.
I thought the omission of molten giants, watchers and hellfires and the inclusion of abusive sargent was unique. In general I think it's cool that a list that wasn't in the meta at the time is proven powerful now, even if you showed me a list with just one tech card different, because we were all sure the meta is figured out.
About having a 1 drop - it smooths out your curve really nice when you are with the coin, and of course you don't play it on turn 1 if you don't have the coin and want to drop a giant on 4. Handlock was playing zombie chow if you remember. Having those and abusive was really helpful for tempo. Once you cut the sunfury protectors, you need a bit more taunt then what is provided by argus - mostly vs druids, warriors and other handlocks.
I don't know what's more batshit insane in that image. The fact that you already got Legend in Classic somehow, the fact that you have 15k Warlock wins, or the fact that you used a bad subpar list to get there.

Yoo nice list mate, also congrats on the legend! At what rank did you make the changes tho? Been trying to climb with the deck myself
Thanks. I stuck with this list since around gold. I didn't really feel the meta changing with the ranks.
Looks just like a Handlock but with Voidwalker.

I didn't say it was a healthy process :X

This was my point too. Legend already from a 2* bonus is insane.
I am by no means a hardcore player, but play 90mins or 2hrs a day and I am silver 9 with handlock lol.
Fair play to you OP
