here again now with paladin featuring nerubian eggs, i don't think this card is very good in arena but i had many enablers so it made it awesome. the many heals got me through some games.got a tirion fordring in the pack, apropriate.
Crazy series where I went 11 0 and duelled a paladin on the twelfth game. An amazing mind control tech helped cement my loss that game, and when I Re-Q'd, it was the same guy! I win this time, and learn afterwards that we were each others' only loss on the way to 12.
4 consecrates gives you a lot of room to abuse them. The other strengths of the deck was just the pure pressure from turn 3 on, and the silver hand knights and argent commander who just did so much work. I never once used equality consecrate, although equality into knife juggler was clutch in my final win. This was all in all a pretty smooth ride for my first one, a lot of games went long but that really seemed to favor me consistently in the late game, where my top-decking was extraordinarily lucky quite often.
My favorite moment was having +2 spell damage on the board and killing tirion with 2 consecrates followed by an ooze on ashbringer.
Biggest losers were the demolisher, blessing of wisdom (which i basically only used on the opponent's large minions), and the raging worgen, who maybe got to rage twice in 13 games.
back to back 12 wins this time with the typical bullcrap mage deck. the last card is pyroblast that won me quite a few games. the rest of the cards what can i say, 3 flamestrikes, 2 fireballs 2 poli, those cards won me almost all the games. as i said, typical arena mage. i really think flamestrike should be nerfed in arena, make it a rare or something. you win games that you shouldn't.
I figured I would take the time to finally upload some of mine. Here is part one of my twelve win decks from this month so far:
7-1-2014: In this 12-1 priest, not displayed are Onyxia and Mind control. The reason it worked so well (besides the obvious high card quality and draw potential) was because it had enough early game to survive, especially because I was not afraid to use shadow word: pains on 2/3's or 3/2's if needed, considering the advantage I would have if I didn't get out tempo-ed. In the mid-game, Mogu'shan, holy nova's, Kodo and Cabal got me back in the game if I had nevertheless gotten overwhelmed by small minions, and my late game was just insane with those 4 temple enforcers. (reward: pack & 215 + 175 + 80 + 35 = 505 gold)
7-2-2014: In this 12-2 mage, not displayed are argent commander, sunwalker and double flamestrike. This one was just straight up high card quality and enough draw to compensate for the low curve. Gadgetzan got a lot more value than I had expected. Overall though, this didn't feel like a blowout deck, but it just felt like it worked out well enough in the games I happened to get into. (reward: pack & golden Felguard & 225 + 145 + 30 = 400 gold)
7-10-2014: In this 12-2 priest, not displayed are sunwalker and two stormwind champions. Besides the great card quality, in this deck it felt like the draw was key. With power word shields, thoughtsteals and holy nova + cleric combos I always had a full hand. I actually had to use holy nove and holy fire as face heals a few times because this made my deck a bit too slow sometimes. (reward: 2 packs & 220 + 145 + 25 = 390 gold)
7-12-2014: In this 12-1 mage, not displayed are Ravenholdt Assassin, Pyroblast and Deathwing. Interestingly, I think I only played deathwing once, because good early drops combined with frostbolts and double water elemental to follow up meant I never lost board control once I got hold. The most deadly combo was a turn 2 or 3 Kirin Tor with mirror entity. I interestingly found myself often using my blizzard just for the freeze near the end, so my board got another turn to attack, allowing me to finish off with that and a fireball or pyroblast. (didn't capture the rewards, oops)
7-13-2014: My first 12-0 rogue also had a stormpike commando, vanish, sprint and molten giant. This is the deck that taught me once and for all how insane blade flurry can be. With spiteful smith enraged or an assassin's blade/deadly poison out, that's almost a 2-mana flamestrike. Combine 2 of them and you do 5 damage to your opponents board and their face. Vanish proved to be surprisingly good in two games, because my card quality and combo/battlecry potential was high enough that I could easily retake the game from an even playing field in those cases. Also, just a reminder for those who didn't know yet, spiteful smith is insane for rogue, it is their equivalent of fire or water elemental, I would pick it over just about anything and turn 4 coin+spiteful, turn 5 spiteful is just evil. (rewards: pack & golden Auchenai Soulpriest & 215 + 160 + 25 = 400 gold)
7-14-2014: This 12-0 mage also had a lord of the arena and two more cards that got cut off (oops), I'm pretty sure one was a flamestrike. In any case, defender of argus was my savior against early agro a few times and the insane value of 4 water elementals got me through the mid-game. Because I didn't have that much card draw, I was careful to never play Acolyte unless I was immediately able to ping it for a guaranteed draw. Considering my late-game was strong but not insane, I'm actually still surprised this didn't get stranded somewhere around 10 wins. But then again. I've noticed a lot of 12-win decks don't actually have that much late game. (reward: pack & CENARIUS! & 220 + 90 + 35 = 345 gold)
7-18-2014: This 12-2 mage also had a frost elemental, two flamestrikes a stormwind champion and a pyroblast. What can I say, this just had all the value you can want. mana wyrn + frostbolt combo; fireball, polymorph, yeti, dark iron dwarf and water elemental on turn 4; double flamestrike. It went exactly as you would expect it to. (reward: pack & shiled slam & 220 + 80 + 30 = 330 gold)
7-20-2014: My first 12-0 priest was absolutely insane. I would say the key card in this deck, and the one I mulligan-ed for aggressively enough even to throw out northshire clerics was wild pyromancer. With 7 cheap early game spells (including 3 power word: shields), this guy could wipe and keep a board through 3 turns easily. I had one game against a rogue where after 2 power word shields and healing it back up, he eventually had to assassinate it on turn 5! :-) The double late game legionaries were of course perfect finishers, especially the one time I got off my holy nova with Malygos in play. But really, it was mostly the high health mid-game spiteful smiths that often retook board control, especially when combined with power word: shield. They either got great trades, or drew the hard removal that was gone when Onyxia, Malygos or a boulderfist hit the board. (reward: 2 packs & 220 + 165 + 25 = 410 gold)
That's been it for this month. I've had a streak of 11-3's the last few days (druid, mage and warrior) but since my priest, I haven't been back up to that lovely 12.
i'm back with a druid now, super strong late game, probably the best i ever drafted. pretty much if i got to the late game with 15 plus health i won. i lost the first game to a hunter who rushed me down too fast and then went 12 straight winning. the mvps where the trees, ancient of lore and ironbark protector. the sylvanas didn't do anything that i recall. i've been getting some sick drafts, my last 5 arenas i went 12,12,9,11,12.
You mention your sick drafts the last few games, but I've actually been noticing the same thing. (11, 8, 7, 11, 11, 11, 12) bringing my winning percentage up over 72%, where I've been struggling to hold on to 70% for a while now.
I'm wondering if it's the good drafts, or if it's the fact that a lot of inexperienced people who haven't been playing much are now playing again with Naxx out; and the people who are experienced are drafting the new cards for fun or out of ignorance of their strengths, rather than picking the best ones. In other words, might it be that we haven't both been getting lucky, but arena has actually gotten a bit easier?
I'm curious what other people's experiences are with this.
Also, my last 12-win deck was the included below hunter, that had Boulderfist, 2 Highmanes and a Stormwind Champion off screen. With the high amount of beasts, houndmaster won me a lot of games. In particular, people often ignored haunted creeper, allowing it to get greet value when houndmastered (or double houndmastered!). As usual, the highmanes were great as well and I stole a loosing game when my turn 5 Rhino stayed up and I topdecked a Highmane on turn 6. (rewards: pack & golden SI:7 Agent & 220+170+30 = 420 gold)
1st one still have : 1 frost elemental, 2 argent commanders, 1 Ironbark and 1 ancient of lore
2nd one still have: 1 stranglethorn tiger , 1 starfire, 1 sunwalker, 1 archmage and 1 Ironbark (I really dont know how i got 12 wins with it, it looks like such a normal deck)
Turned into Aggro <3 and worked really well. Lots of damage done if used with the right tempo. Usually control then Aggro like most arena decks, but this one got me my first 12 wins :D
My first ever 12 win Arena, 12-1 Rogue (usually in the 7-8 win range). Didn't think it was anything special when I drafted it, but the press and reach proved to be lethal time and time again.
Went 12-0 with this Mage deck. First 12 wins for me. Previously had 11 and 10 wins numerous times with Paladin.
This deck proved to be really solid. Quality minions, very strong early, middle and late game and all the control. Ice Block didn't trigget even once, and Sylvannas only stole me a Timber Wolf in one game. MVPs are Blood Knights, Polymorph and Ogres.
Got 330 Gold, 1 pack and a golden Unbound Elemental.
Finally, I can join the Club of 12. :D Never would have expected this deck to be it but it had a lot of quality cards, great cheap removal and good card draw.
Second time took a Mage, second time it's 12. 12-2 this time. Lost two in a row at 11-0. The last two games were versus the same Paladin guy with 3 Sludge Belcher (this card is pure madness in the arena). Lost the first one, won the next.
All in all a typical Mage deck, though didn't expect it to go 12 wins. Too many weak minions.

Had Maexxna, Tririon Fordring, one Guardian of Kings and one Lay on Hands off screen.
Trew away the game on 11-0 :(
+Venture Co. Mercenary, Blizzard, 2x Flamestrike and Pyroblast
Reward: pack + 330 gold + golden Divine Favor
My first ever 12-1 (had 4 or 5 12-2's before but this is progress!!! Still looking for that 12-0)
Holy damn 4 fireballs, nice. Always good to see someone get 12 with no flamestrikes too, something I've only ever managed once myself.
The last two cards are: 1 Flamestrike, 1 Sunwalker
Pretty straight-forward deck. Hit with minions, clear with spells. Super value deck with almost every card being 2x1.
This are my only 12 wins decks so far
1st one still have : 1 frost elemental, 2 argent commanders, 1 Ironbark and 1 ancient of lore
2nd one still have: 1 stranglethorn tiger , 1 starfire, 1 sunwalker, 1 archmage and 1 Ironbark (I really dont know how i got 12 wins with it, it looks like such a normal deck)
Turned into Aggro <3 and worked really well. Lots of damage done if used with the right tempo. Usually control then Aggro like most arena decks, but this one got me my first 12 wins :D

This is my 12-0 Deck
There are missing 1 Seagiant and 2 Flamestrikes

Got exactly the same prize: 330 Gold, 1 Pack, 1 golden Flame Imp
