Well, a plethora of times people don't know how to play the game at all when they play 5 cards, then draw. Flame Imp Flame Imp Lifetap. I saw this at rank 3 nonetheless.

Feel free to add me in-game. I won't bite. Probably.
Mage has an 8/8 giant on the board and a secret. I'm on a priest with 3 cards, priestess 1/3 and two destroy cards, one with 3 or less and 5 or higher. I'm thinking its a copy secret so I throw down the priestess since I could deal with both cards with my destroys. Its not a copy. Ok obviously its a silence, he doesn't want me destroying his giant. But I don't want my 5 or higher destroy card silenced, so I use my 3 or less and destroy my own priestess. It wasn't a silence either. /facepalm. At least I got to destroy the giant >.>
First time playing icey mage with my ramp druid deck. I am at 19 health, he is at 14 health. It's my turn and I have a 10/10 taunted Ragnaros the Firelord on board and a 4/4 Druid of the Claw. His board is empty. My turn. I have a full hand, he has 3 cards. Thinking it is over I drop 2 chillwind yeti s, hero power up and pass. He proceeds to go Frostbolt, Ice Lance, Ice Lance, and the Fireball he jsut drew with ping for exactly 20 damage to kill me. I had Healing Touch in hand. Cost me a win streak.

It's the beauty of secrets, your correct play was the wrong play knowing what was actually under there. I think you still did the right play there. If it was a counterspell it would have been a disaster to play it differently.
Definitely not the worst, but i was quite happy with it. Against priest in casual, just doing a daily. Whenever he used Thoughtsteal or Mind Vision, he'd emote a thanks. I had a 3/2 dingo, a 4/1 Cairne and a 3/3 worgen. He had 30 health. This is Turn 8. Priest decides to play holy nova, leaving me with an enraged 4/1 worgen and a clean Baine. Next turn comes the BoK + Blessed Champion
He even saved me the extra match to complete Beat Down... I definitely thanked him...
I can't call this the worst, but it was one of the strangest opening turns I've seen. I was taking my zoo deck (whatever, I like it for quick games...don't judge me) for a spin last night and was matched up with a Mage that played two Wisps (one was golden!..WTF?), Mirror Image, and a Goldshire Footman (after playing the Coin).
I was so confused. I really wanted to see where this was going, but then he/she conceded on turn 3. I'll take the win, but I was very curious about his/her plan for the game.
Two Sylvanas' on board (via faceless) and the opponent plays rag when I have over 25 life.
Not the worst I've seen but it was funny enough that I just have to post it. I finally got board control against a mage and I was getting close to lethal if she didn't have any answers. I had a Guardian of Kings, Pint-Sized Summoner, 2 Silver Hand Recruits, a Sheep and a Murloc Scout. My opponent had 13 health. The mage plays Tinkmaster Overspark. Pint-Sized Summoner turns into....you guessed it Devilsaur. Giving me exactly lethal if she pings a 1/1. There was a chance for disaster though because she proceeded to Youthful Brewmaster back the Tinkmaster Overspark. Luckily the second time around he just converted a 1/1 to a Squirrel.
