I'm not really a fan of any of those picks. The Tauren Warrior is a 2/3 for 3 which is pretty bad base stats and you can't count on your opponent enraging him for you. He'll die off easily to a simple 3/2 2 drop. He also won't trade evenly with any basic 3/3 or better 3 drops allowing your opponent to trade to their advantage. He looks good but I think that is deceiving.
Salty Dog is 11 total stats for 5 mana which is pretty good base stats. The problem is he's got really low heath and nothing to protect him so he lives to your next turn so he's very vulnerable to being taken out by a cheaper minion. Your DotC's should be decent options for protecting him but they are all 5 drops.
Mark of the Wild is a decent buff and gives you another taunt. Obviously, makes it a target for a silence but you aren't necessarily as likely to be facing those in arena.
I think I'd go Salty here and hope for a DotC to protect it to the next round for a big swing of damage.
i'm back! but looks like i'm a little too late... how in the world did you end up with a Moonfire? you could not have picked a worse card... everything else seems reasonable. but, you're halfway through and we are still really hurting for 2 and 3 drops. i pick tauren warrior here. you have enough five drops that are way better than salty dog. mark of the wild is a dead card unless you have small drops to use it on - which you don't.
I'd go tauren as well. Mark can be good but its best with early drops and your curve is seriously lacking early game. Tauren isn't very good but you have to prioritize your curve at this point because you are heavy and w/o ramp cards.
Yeah, I think I have to go with Tauren Warrior here to help out my curve. It'll help me survive into the late game and if I can get it into enrage mode, then I'll take that as a bonus. Okay, halfway there! And now I fear another tough pick (at least at first glance).
OPTIONS FOR PICK #16: Moonfire vs Starfire vs Piloted Shredder. So Moonfire is obviously out, but I'm stuck between Starfire and the Shredder. Starfire is great removal plus a card draw, but I do have 3 removal spells (4 if you want to count Force of Nature) and Piloted Shredder is a great sticky 4 drop. My gut is saying Shredder, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone would make a case for the Starfire over it.
Tauren Warrior has a huge problem : it trades with two-drops, and gets eaten by most three and four-drops at no cost for your opponent - and usually at a small additional cost from you (hero power to finish the job). It's a big tempo loss. Salty Dog has a similar proble : it trades with many early game drops, which makes him less than stellar.
Honestly, I'd go with Mark of the Wild. It makes great openings (coin a two-drop, buff on the next turn and eat opponent's drop), but it requires early game presence to be good. You probably should prioritize early game drops in the last third of your draft anyways, seeing how your curve is shaping up. It's horrible if you have no board, though...
And for what it's worth, I think the second Druid of the Claw was the best pick. Farseer is okay, but not incredible, and Innervate is a high risk card. Arena matches often go into top deck wars, or into value trading mode, and top-decking that, or losing your innervated 8/8 to a single spell, is awful. Constructed Druid decks have ways to recoup the card disadvantage of ramp cards, but you are not guaranteed to see any of those in your draft.
(Edit) I see you went with the Tauren. That's all right - at the very least, it'll buy you time.
For your next pick, I think you have to go with Piloted Shredder. Stats from 12-wins decklists have shown that it is amongst the most-used common cards in those decks, and for good reasons. Starfire's nice, but slow. Shredder is both fast, threatening, and incredible value.
Shredder for sure. One of my favorite cards in the game and keeps presence on the board which is huge in arena. Leaving a body can also help your combo later on.
I think it's a toss up between Starfire and Piloted Shredder. You've only got 2 4 drops so far so you could definitely fit in a couple more and Piloted Shredder is a good one. Starfire is good removal and the draw replaces it in your hand which is good in arena where you are more likely to get into top decking/trading wars but a lot less likely to actually run out of cards.
Dire wolf seems like the clear choice. The Thrallmar farseer has the same problem as the Tauren Warrior. A 2 drop will likely trade with it and a 3 drop will probably survive. Odds are you'll never get to attack with it if you drop it as a 2 drop unless your opponent has gotten unlucky and missed their drops. To try to use it you'd be better off dropping on turn 7 with a DotC hoping that the taunt protects it so you can at least get one turn in to swing with it.
Cool. My gut reaction that Dire Wolf was by and far the right choice, but I wanted to see if anyone would make a case for Thrallmar's windfury. I picked Dire Wolf. Pick #18 seems similarly obvious, but then again, maybe it's not.
2/3 for 2 meets the basic criteria for a body and the taunt effect can be really handy. Probably don't want to count it and be using it as a two drop but seems like the clear choice to me.
Master Swordsmith is too puny - even two-drops can eat it without trading. I haven't ever seen it work, on my side or my opponent's. Sunfury Protector can be played as it is, without any board, and has added value if you actually have board presence. It is a premium two-drop.
Cool, that's about in line with what I thought. I picked the Sunfury Protector.
OPTIONS FOR PICK #19: Stormwind Knight vs Puddlestomper vs Ironbeak Owl. I really want to put a high value on Ironbeak Owl because of how great it is in constructed. Does it have similar value in the arena? Looking online, I'm surprised to see Ironbeak rated so low and that Stormwind Knight and Puddlestomper have pretty decent values for common cards. I'd love to hear some thoughts on these cards.
Well, silencing is useful in Arena, but Ironbeak Owl just has an underwhelming body. The prevalence of Paladins (with their gazillion 1/1 minions) and Mages (with their hero power) makes 1 health minions very weak. Not that it's unplayable - but whereas in constructed you can usually know which juicy target to wait for before you play the Owl, the unpredictability of arena makes timing it well harder, and it's not like the body is interesting by itself.
Normally I'd lean towards Stormwind Knight - it usually comes in, eats a 3/2 minion, and leaves a 2/2 body behind, which is great value. However, with your late game curve, a regular 3/2 for 2 might be what you'd want, putting pressure early and trading 1-for-1.
stormwind knight, just because the other two cards are terrible bodies.
My biggest gripe with 1 and 2 drops in arena is I feel like they have to do something if you play them past their curve. Which is why I love cards like knife juggler and sunfury protector. They still have value on turn 10.
Thanks for the feedback on this one. I decided to go with Puddlestomper. I felt like having a good pressure inducing 2-drop was preferable out of these options and give the most bang for the buck. Sure, the Owl would obviously have it's uses, but as Demonocrat pointed out, it's really hard to know when to play it and when to hold it since the Arena is so unpredictable compared to constructed. For me, I feel like I would wind up holding it in my hand the entire game until either I'm dead or I use it to go for lethal.
Pick #20 seemed pretty straight-forward to me based on the options. Between Kezan Mystic, Mana Wraith, and Abomination, I chose Kezan Mystic. 4/3 for 4 isn't anything super special, but it seemed like the right choice. I can't see Mana Wraith being useful at all. Abomination, while it could be useful, I have better 5 drops already, and I don't like its deathrattle without having other cards to combo with it intelligently. Plus, the times that the Mystic can steal a secret, it'll be amazing!
OPTIONS FOR PICK #21: Chillwind Yeti vs Stormwind Champion vsUndertaker. My thought here is to go for the Yeti, but Stormwind Champion can be a very big threat, so I'm not quite sure. While I don't have any 1 drops, I worry that Undertaker would be underwhelming, despite having 3 deathrattle cards in my deck.
I'm not really a fan of any of those picks. The Tauren Warrior is a 2/3 for 3 which is pretty bad base stats and you can't count on your opponent enraging him for you. let me change your mind...

OPTIONS FOR PICK # 17: Dire Wolf Alpha vs Thrallmar Farseer vs Archmage. Dire Wolf? Any reason to pick Thrallmar? I'm not picking up a second Archmage.
Yup. I'd go for the Dire Wolf. It's not amazing, but it can help your minions to trade up if you have a bit of board presence.
Direwolf.
