I thought this yesterday both when I was the victim of mind control and when I was the priest with mind control. In a mode where board state is everything and hand sizes quickly dwindle the power of mind control is too much.
I would welcome a mind control ban, it should be sin binned just as the death knights were.
except when, unlike normal decks, it can be drafted more than twice...so yeah applying logic from standard/wild games in the context of arena isn't apples to apples.
It's a lose more thing in arena. If you are winning, you can play around it. If you are losing, you need to cross your fingers and play that big minion. Then it's stolen, and game over.

You think having a lot of TEN MANA cards is a strategy without drawbacks? Sure, it's good when it works, but many games never even get to ten

I feel like you are struggling to understand the discussion pertained to arena mode, which set the stage for the original argument. Nobody is balking at the notion a 10-cost card should be powerful. The whole premise of the argument was mind control is really unfair in, *gasp*...wait for it--AREEEENAAAAA.
who's talking about other game modes? show of hands, anybody?? Oh, that's right--just you.

thanks for your irrelevant input!
What are you on about? I am taking about arena
Are you not aware that there is mana and mana costs in arena? It's a whole thing
Mind control is perfectly fine in both constructed and arena.
Yeah! Why aren't people teching in cards in Arena? Trust me, Arena is way better when you can choose situational cards to act as counters, instead of relying on the drafting process to deliver card options to you. It's definitely totally something you can absolutely do in Arena, too. Just turn on "Elective Mode" by clicking the Chat Gem seventeen times in the lobby.

I drafted 4 mind controls once. I had a gut feeling it's a bad move, but decided to do it for the poor sould I was going to troll. Needless to say, sitting on no board turn 7 with 2 mind controls in hand is not great.
I think the card is fine, and priest has late game potential, it's normal that it wins most value games (maybe except against warlock and occasionally shaman). As powerful as stealing an opposing minion of your choice is, it can be played around, by only playing minions that can kill each other, and it is terrible when you are very behind. Draw it early and it can lose you the game long before turn 10.

'nough said...it's annoying how it undermines draft decks, which are already horrible as is.

I can't even recall how many games I lost due to "mind control". I can't agree more. It should be banned.
Shoudnt be available as draft option. Thats ridiculous.
Fun > Meta
What he said.
blizzard doesnt care abt u. just buy another arena
or pick mind control when you can
Don't be ridiculous it's a 10 mana card it's allowed to be powerful

Boy we are scraping the bottom of the barrel on complaints these days. Mind control...in arena...lol.
True...but still! Hate mind control! I've lost so many games because of this thing! Damn lol
