This isn't meant to be a salt thread, but rather, I'm curious how exactly arenad rafting works.
We have probably faced that one guy, who manages to have a deck that counters everything you have, on the perfect turn. Like this paladin I just faced, who started by coining out a Faerie dragon, which hen then Argent protector'd, and then he hand of a'dald AND the divine shield dragon buff'd his argent protector so it became huge and difficult to deal with. From there, my game was already lost so I just conceded and went on to the next game.
Again, not meant as sale, but I just wonder, how is it possible with the randomness of arena drafting that people just get the highly synergetic perfect decks? Personally I've never managed to create something as good as they do.
I think it's often not perfect but their draw is so perfect that you couldn't tell. For example, if you have a 1,2,3, and four drop but the rest of your deck is 5 or higher, you might just get everything in the right order and be unstoppable. I had a guy with a singleton deck who got Zephrys the Great and bounced him back into their hand 3 times. Those bounce cards would be trash it he was the last card in that deck.
