Luck is a factor in life. Some people win lotteries, some are born in rich families. Some are poor from the very start and have it uphill for an entire life. Some people are beautiful doing nothing, some are born ugly.
In other words comparing yourself to the people with luck is the best step to constant frustration and depression.
You need some extreme luck to get DQ Alex and some more to use it in Arena.
Even though it generally sucks for people, who don't have much luck, accept the fact that extreme luck is gonna reward the one who gets it and move on.
Twice I've picked DQA in Arena and quite early too and I said to myself never again. Trying to keep the deck 'pure Highlander' forced me in multiple occasions to make sub-optimal picks later in the draft. It was fun when I got to drop it in a couple of games, but given how limited card draw you normally have in Arena most of the times she was just burried in my deck and I was stuck with my mediocre minions
Thankfully I only had to give up one double card in the deck, and included a single double (3 mana) which I always managed to get out early. I've gotta admit Alex made me win in 7/12 matches
There have always been insane arena cards that some lucky lucker gets in their deck. Kel'thuzad sprngs to mind as one that really swung things early on in hearthstone's life.
There is something about the manner of Alex that is annoying though, giving 2 zero cost cards and having to sit their and watch your opponent play them for free on top of their 8/8....Blizzard needs to get a handle on things that 'feel bad' better than they have.
Generating zero cost cards that have the potential to high-roll and be big drops as well...no more of this shit please, especially in arena (Galakarond rogue is BS)
The fact that this fat bitch hasn't been removed from the Arena pool yet shows yet again how incompetent of a company it is.

But more often than not, Alex comes from discover effects, not from draft.
Today I was offered Reno the Relicologist and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza in the draft, where HearthArena suggested I'd pick Reno. No way Jose :)

People still play arena?
