Which cards have you encountered that worked well or failed spectacularly?
I fell into the trap of playing Madder Bomber when the board was equal... He chose to wipe out my 4 health minion and leave the enemy minion in peace. Ah, that RNG.
Crackle worked out really well for me, killing a Yeti once (6 dmg) and rolling out 4 dmg generally (nice value, killed 2 4/4 ogre and some other stuff, plus lethal on face a couple of times too).
The 2-5 taunt that cannot be targeted was good too, but probabily it's worse in constructed.. the 3-2 windfury minion for Shammy was a total beast, but again, it's worse in constructed.
P.S. sorry but I don't remember the cards names D:
Played Warlock on my free Arena. Floating Watcher was amazing for me. It could destroy opponents the same way Gruul could if left alone. Imp-losion was also surprisingly pretty good. Lil' Exorcist was really good when her ability went off, and okay when it didn't.
Overrated card for me was Fel Cannon. Thought it would be amazing (it was pretty good), but it kept killing my minions afterwards :( Probably better in constructed where you have a mech deck.
Also, a card I suddenly see as worse is Lightbomb. Thought it only affected enemy minions (opponent probably did too) and it ended up clearing his own minions as well.
It's clobbering time! Ogre Brute is an incredibly strong 3 drop.
As for surprising weaknesses, Mechanical Yeti is actually weaker than the normal Yeti if you don't have Mech synergies because of the Spare Part given to the opponent. My opponent got some Stealth and +1 health during his turn, both of which screwed up my combat math.
BTW, if you want more free trial Arena runs, you get 1 per server. That ought to give you some free practice with the new cards.
I expected this of Mechanical Yeti. Since he doesn't have Charge your opponent can kill him next turn and then use the spare part to solidify his position. Nevertheless, I still think the Mech classification offsets the slight downside.
Antique Healbot is going to be one of my new favorites in this set. For control-minded players, it gives you that extra round or two you need to turn things around as the other player runs out of steam.
I also found Ogre Brute to be very strong in round 3. Not as much so as the game went on.
Actually got to play some with Trade Prince Gallywix. It was nice and won me one game, but at other times it was too slow for me.
I got 10 wins with Rogue. Auto Barber was cool, that Sword Oil was nice as well.
Bomb Lobber did a great job! It is a better Stormpike Commando.
Clockwork Giant was the better of bad epics & it just didn't work!
I had the chance to pick Bomb Lobber during my draft but skipped over him due to his stats but he was played against me a couple of times and gave my opponent a huge swing play. Might actually be a good arena pick.
my run was going swimmingly with the opponent down to his last few card and with equal board strength. when suddenly my opponent dropped his hand and played Jeevs. It was all down hill from there to say the least
Mechanical Yeti screwed me against a Gurubashi. He was on 2 health with 8 attack and i played an Explosive Sheep, the mage got the +1 health spare part and pinged my sheep. 11 damage to the face! "/
Still finishing old card arena run. I just played a druid with a 7/7 tank with divine shield that was extremely annoying though. Other than that, after 3 games, I haven't seen anything too crazy.
I can definitely say I lost a game because someone played gurabashi berserker and bouncing blade.
Hmm now that brings a question to mind, what if a warrior is the only one with minions on the field and they play commanding shout and then bouncing blade. Does the game just never end and you just watch the blade bounce around? lol
i choose warrior since it was free; went as expected.
Piloted Sky Golem wasn't too bad, called a Dread Corsair and a Wailing Soul for me Shieldmaiden and Siege Engine were ok, but died to starfall/starfire (played a few druids) so they didn't get me anywhere. she did get me up to 21 armor one game 'cause i got to brew her back.

Fel Reaver is an interesting clutch play when you're behind.

Druid of the Fang is better than I expected.

I lost a game to a player because he managed to get Target Dummy and buffed him with 2 Armor Plating.
For you guys saying about Ogre Brute being good, he might be, but I managed to bait it to hit a 1/1 token from my Imp Master. :D
I picked Druid of the Fang in my first few picks hoping to pick up beasts through the draft... Didn't get any and had to play him as a 4/4.
Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken.

Piloted Shredder has been a real mvp, and so far has gotten me a Scavenging Hyena, Pint-Sized Summoner, and most excitingly, Millhouse Manastorm!

Recombobulator is amazing! I got it in both runs so far and it has been soo much fun!
Also, Bomb Lobber does some serious work!
I heal people to death
Surprisingly [card]Tinkertown Technician[/card] turned out great, very easy to become 4/4 for 3 mana and you get a spare part.
