Is it more convenient to leave the run at 0-0 or try to make some wins?
That is something you have to decide for yourself. Time invested is the main factor here. If we are talking about if it is convenient, then obviously it is way easier just to start the run, draft a random deck and leave it be :)
As a rule of thumb, if you win, you gain as much gold & dust (in total) as the amount of wins you have now, times 7. Plus the pack you always get.
So the first win is worth 7 gold&dust, your second win is worth 14, 3rd win is worth 21. The higher you climb, the more each win is worth.
Whether it's worth your time: up to you. ranked play wins are worth 3.33 gold each, so a lot less, but maybe more fun to you?

Cross-server challenge-a-friend quest trading:
If you play primarily on NA, but also on EU, then maybe you are interested in cross-server trading? Whenever I get the 80g quest on NA I would love to give it away and get it on EU in return. If you'd like a long-lasting trade routine, drop me a message here on hearthpwn!
Yogg-Saron challenge: Whenever you encounter a Yogg Saron player - concede in honor and send a friend request. It takes balls to play a card that usually results in your own death. :D
Ok, blizzard has announced the official release times for each region after all. They are calling it their first simultaneous global launch. Our expected times were actually correct except for China, it will be 1AM CST instead of 6AM CST.
So painful to stop at 11-1, but I don't have time to play enough games to make a new run worth it.
Well, it is worth trying for 12 wins and starting a new one and leaving it at 0-0, def more rewards that way since 12 offers one more reward box over 11 and better total value in general ;-)
Also something to note, you can play out your turn after the arena entries close, so if you are afraid you wont have time to play some of it and you would want to, just make sure to start it in time and you can play it out even later in the day ;-)
Ended up going 6-2 myself with what I felt was a good zoo/tempo deck.
Lost first game to opponent that dropped a Jaraxxus late and, while it was close, I couldn't overcome the infinite value.
Lost second game to opponent that got a Lich King off of Stonehill Defender, and after I'd dealt with that - dropped a natural Lich King that they'd drafted. Two cards they got were Death Coil and Death and Decay, so no whiffs on the LK cards either. Ultimately it did end up being a 1HP game (they perfectly lethaled me from topdeck while on 1 HP), but without LK quality cards I'm pretty sure I would've won.
Arena's not bad, and at least it's very unpredictable, but I think that's why I prefer constructed - even though RNG screws with things in other ways in constructed, at least from a card quality standpoint it's an even playing field.
Didn't play arena for 1.5 years, I went 0-2 with a deck that was painful to play, idk if the deck sucked/my picks sucked/opponents had perfect answers, I'll leave it at 0-2, I hope this arena reset will happen :)

Yes, there is always such warning. But it only tells you to finish your run, which is fair, if you wanted to play it out. But obviously they will not announce that you can "scam" them lolo :)
Your deck was pretty abysmal to tell you the truth, beside two Stonehill Defenders, you pretty much had nothing. You had very weak minions all across the mana curve and no win condition rly, maybe Wargear on a mech, but that is a stretch. Even if you curved out, and that was a good possibility with good enough early game, one clear and you were probably done for. Only way i could see that deck winning is if you could get Tarim out of stonehill consistently and swarm the board and finish with Tarim, but i guess that didnt happen.
this is new and it was just patched... it seems like they noticed this little trick :/ and it won't work
Would be nice to provide some sources for such a bold claim.
But one simple fact is, they just cant not give you an arena ticket for an unfinished run. There are some ppl who legitimately have unfinished runs cause they forgot or cause they didnt have time to play them out or had them started before xpac and stopped playing for a while etc. If they didnt reimburse them, that would be very unfair and it would be very bad practice towards customers. The bad press is just not worth it in this case.
Btw, ppl have made threads about this for years even on the official Blizzard forums lol, you can bet your ass Blizzard knows about this, but like i said, not worth it to do anything about that. Just add it in the "moar free stuff is good stuff" column and get the good press for allowing us to do just that.
150 gold for 2 packs at worst scenario.
Pretty good value
Thx mate, I appreciate that ;)
Try to get some wins, mane. Better rewards that way.
Not official, no. Expected times based on last few xpac releases.

I, on the other hand, had no problem stopping at 0-2 lol.
Trying to get more into HS. I am not the best at making my own decks, so I copy others, lol.
I suck in arena. I will leave with a 2-2 :)

I was trying to but keep going 12:0! Guess I better just stop at 11 wins. 🙃
I got to 5-2 which seems to be my average win rate with arena. I'm not a huge fan of this mode but I won't say no to free goodies :)

10-2 not worth to play, right?
