Btw, playing around MCT doesn't necessarily mean never playing more than 3 minions. You can also flood your board with tiny minions and 1-2 big minions to reduce the chances of your big minion being stolen. Or you can "spread your buffs" around so that all the minions are equally good and the loss of one isn't game-breaking.
Having Lich king and 6 1/1 if MCT steal your lich king game is over. Remplace "steal" by destroy and it still very strong. So yes you can play this way but the fact 1/7 to instant lose the game even if you tried to play against it just not fun. Most of the time it s better to have max 3 minions.
To be honest , playing 1 big minion and 3 weak minions is (while reducing the chances ???) in reality giving the opportunity for a maximum swing by MCT. Do you really want to completely grant a max swing to the opponent???
This is the reason why Pros dont ever leave Hadronox to be MCT and just kill it with Naturalise because the swing effect is straight up game losing if given even the 25% chance.
Playing 2 medium sized minions and 2 weak minions is basically the same math wise if the 2 medium sized minions combined stats have the stat of a big minion (from case 1) but it is better because the swing is less great.
Not even just Arena, it's making it's presence pretty visible on Constructed as well.
I think they should nerf the effect to "more than 4 minions", or at the very least increase the mana cost to 4 (it's already a 3/3 for 3 with a very swingy effect) or reduce it's power to 2/2.
I didnt play hs in three month and still I need to see mct rage threads. I completely agree to finally kick it out of arena. The effect is just too random and thats everything there is to say.
MCT can be played around against. If you lose to an MCT play, it probably means you're not good enough yet to play around it and you get mad because of your incompetence. But MCT is what keep zoo and smorc decks in check and is therefore a very balanced card. Plus there's always RNG at work.

Lol wtf.. first I was talking about arena like you could read if you well would read the post. No smorc and zoo decks there to be kept in check last time I checked.
Secondly..you can't play around it in arena without risking to lose. I got several 12 win runs in already..board wins arena and sometimes you have to make sure you finish your opponent fast enough or you'll lose to big things.. in that kind of situation especially after controlling and winning over the board MCT is just plain annoying..blizzard removing it shows me that I was not alone with my sentiments against it.

Playing around MCT on arena has to be the worst and dumbest thing I've read ever. If you are never gonna play a 4th minion on arena just cause of the small chance your opponent happened to draft it and also happens to have it on their hand then you'll lose a lot of games that you should've won.
In standard sure, playing around MCT against certain decks that you know usually runs this deck just shows how good a player can be but playing around it on arena is a clear sign of a bad player, unless you somehow know your opponent drafted it, which is borderline impossible.
25% or less chance is random enough, unless the game progressed enough to have a big board of all big minions.

MCT is gone.
