Last year, Warlock was a hot class to pick, as Bloodbloom combo'd well with a number of class spells, especially Ultimate Infestation. I'm wondering if anyone has noticed any new combos that can break the arena? I haven't really seen any so far
Mage/Rogue is a good combo. Especially if you get a very tempo-oriented deck. Hunter/Druid was also decent, but probably not as good anymore with a lot of the beast synergy rotated out. And as you say yourself; Warlock is very good too, due to it being a very flexible class with tempo and control oriented aspects. Of course it is currently also the best arena class, so you probably don't go wrong by choosing it.
Radiant Elemental or Sorcerer's Apprentice + Unstable evolution
IMO, going for the 2 card combos highroll isn't a good strategy. I've had 3 warlock runs and haven't seen bloodbloom once (not that I was actively looking for it. Warlock is just a very solid 2nd class)
You generally want to pick classes with OP class cards and weak hero powers such as warrior, druid or priest for your first option. Then pair with classes that are carried by their hero powers like rogue or warlock, avoiding these as your first pick to increase the chances of good options appearing for your second. Coincidentally, if you get what you want, the first class will also synergize with the second by providing armor or healing cards to make up for the health loss from hero powering
Statsically speaking, based on the results from last event, its Priest, Druid first followed by Mage, Warlock, Rogue hero power.
I dont think these are relevant in any way ... there were different cards in the mix and there was a different drafting system. Makes a lot of difference.

True. Have to factor in the cards from WW and BDP, which have a small amount of arena meta changing cards.
The rankings of hero powers should be still relevant though.
I'd put Warrior as one of the better first classes due to Warpath and Super Collider.

I drafted (only) two warrior decks and i was offered very few weapons and all of them were only FWAs and Reapers. But i have played vs a lot of warriors and they also had like one max two weapons from what iv seen and not a single Supercollider or Gorehowl.
Im not saying they changed things up, but you rly dont seem to get many weapons offered during the draft.
I had good luck with paladin/druid combinations. Silver sword with Spreading Plague/Living Mana is just insane. Also druid hero power adds up 1 attack to paladin weapons.
Otherwise I had fun with Warrior decks with a different hero power - warlock/mage was the best. And Warrior spellstone (which is not that hard to come by) with great rogue hero power synergy.

Also a rly good catch on this particular combo!
I can confirm this. I drafted two Lesser Mithril Spellstones as a Warrior/Rogue and went 11-3, my last loss coming to someone with the exact same combo.

Hit rank 15 with a homebrew back in the KOFT days.
Yaayyy...
There's all my notable achievements.

Gotta go Rogue at least in one of them, if not for the tempo then for that very slim chance you get Tess lol
I went with warrior-warlock, according to kripps tier list he posted on his twitter the other day those 2 classes are the best in arena right now.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Just got 12/1 with Rogue / Mage combo All my opponents after 8 Wins were Mage / Rogue Exept one Druid / Warlock ...
I played against a shaman/mage who had Sorcerers apprentice and unstable evolution, needless to say I lost.
Wow, totally didnt think of that! Priest can do it as well, damn shaman become more interesting :D

Warrior with the Rogue hero power is incredibly good for some reason

I got 12-2 with warlock-mage but I only drafted 1 warlock card.
So I don't think Warlock it's a good first class unless you get insane cards like defile
Went 12-2 with Warrior / Druid.
It wasn't an amazing deck, but it got there.
Ultimate Infestation, Supercollider and Gloop Sprayer carried me.
I think Hunter / Shaman or Druid would be a really nasty combo to turn the table on your opponent .
Unleash the Hound + Bloodlust if you let your opponent have the board = 7 x 4 = 28 Damage !
