I just drafted a pretty insane Tempo Paladin Deck with Tarmin and just got stomped by 2 Priests and 1 Paladin... First two priests had literally a constructed Dragon Priest Deck (2x Duskbreaker within Turn 8/12 + Holy Nova) Cobalt Scalebane and insane minion on curves which see play in many constructed decks. The Paladin had also a insane curve on 0/2... this was just freakin insane... i didn´t even encountered decks on my two 8/9 win runs i had this expansion that were even close to these decks i just encountered on 0 wins...
Just the random beauty of Hearthstone arena probably. I had a good Mage deck go 1-3 vs some ridiculous decks and then next run I had a mediocre Warlock deck that went 8-3 against some decks that seemed to be picked blind-folded. All hail the RNG!

No not really.
If I'm at 1-3 and I go against any deck even remotely close to a constructed deck its time to leave Arena till the next expansion.
I mean the last 6 arena runs I've had out of those 6 I've won 2 games at 0-0 because the decks are just mind boggling. Its not even worth to play Arena at the moment unless you drafted a 80+ point deck, period.
Oh wait and btw the latest 0-0 game, guy pulled 3 Tirions from Stonehill, just had 6 Spikeridge steeds and played all of them 16 cards in. It was a pretty well placed 0-0 game being my deck was 68 points
I dunno man, I would let the metagame shake out a bit...
My results have been a bit disappointing as well (though I attribute some of this to RNGeesus spurning me), but it always tends to be this way upon the release of a new expansion.
I have noticed that the new draft system definitely seems to have yielded more generally powerful decks, so maybe insane insane drafts are just more common?
Anyways, keep the faith, take a few weeks off and mass gold and then give it another go once others get bored of Arena.
You can't really complain if you draft an "insane" deck yourself and lose to other "insane" decks. Lol :)
I don´t complain, just curious why i faced these decks on 0-0, 0-1 and 0-2... they had seriously the best decks i ever saw on arena but managed to get 0-1 and 0-2? I played quite alot the last days and i went with pretty much every deck (no matter how bad it was) atleast to 3-4 wins... while my 2 pretty awesome paladin drafts went 0-3 and 1-3...
Really weird but it just points out that i shouldn´t pick Paladin.

If two very strong decks face each other at 0-0 one will have to lose in the end. Nothing surprising about seeing strong decks at 0-1 or sometimes even 0-2.
Anyway, it's kind of sad to see people get so hung-up on HA deck scores all the time blaming the "quality" of their deck for their constant failure instead of trying to adapt to the meta or make changes to their drafting style. Players seem to put way too much trust into HA without questioning these scores/ratings enough. Maybe, just maybe, the issue lies within that drafting app and/or your playstyle?
Thank you! I hate HA tier scores with a passion, yes they give some information, but ppl generally take it religiously as a sole indicator and only argument as to how good the deck is or how it should perform. Get out of here with that mindset ... :P

i drafted the deck by myself and even when i use that plugin i never saw the score of my decks.

Yes, insane decks are the norm now. With buckets, everyone gets to choose a certain number of great cards, a certain number of good, of average, and of bad cards. So every Paladin deck has 2+ steeds and a vinecleaver. You can just count on it. Every shaman has a couple of Hexes and a volcano.
How far into the late game did you get in the second two match ups? Was your opponent playing single minions consistently on the mana curve or were there turns where they played a couple small minions instead of one big one? It could be that they drafted poorly with only a few small cost minions and in the first one or two games were overrun before they could build a board, and just happened to curve out when they played you.

If you played the good old arena times until their big changes with Standard arena, don't touch arena. You won't have fun anyway.
Arena has become garbage as fuck.
I actually really like Arena right now, it´s WAY better than in Paladins and Call to Arms. I started to like Warrior so i tried it the first time in Arena today and had really fun playing it.

Variance ?. All 12 win decks at 0-0?
