My main concern with this idea is that Team 5 seems reluctant to give out actual data, which would make an algorithm based system (anywhere in the game, really) an unknown factor. Look at arena, where they "forget" to publish details and still (at least to my knowledge) have never actually confirmed reward structures. If we're talking about on-the-fly adjustments being thrown in, as well, it's just far more likely that it ends in a giant clusterfuck whereby everyone is claiming Blizzard is out to get them or preventing them from reaching higher ranks, qualifiers, etc.

 You are very much mistaken if you think ladder competition is supposed to be about the playstyle you think of as "fun."

The whole point of Ranked play is to use the best, most refined deck you can with the highest level of skill you can to climb through the ranks. You are asking for people to be punished for doing exactly the thing Ranked play is supposed to encourage.

If you don't like the meta, make some friends and create a club where you battle each other and disallow whatever decks are making you salty.

Or just play in Casual, where you're guaranteed a win rate close to 50 percent -- and once you sink low enough in the MMR, you may not see a lot of meta decks anymore. Or at least you won't see them played well.
