One more thing - you can often practice with an Arena deck by constructing it yourself and taking it into casual. Play 5 games with it, and you'll get to know it a bit better.
Edit: I think it's obvious, but to be clear (to very new people), you need to craft it first in Arena.
play mirange decks on ladder. Learn when to face and when to trade. then watch some kripp. Then arena, and you should be getting 7+ wins with any good deck. I probably average around 5-6 wins, but I dont play a lot. I just like constructed more.
Try to watch kripp or trump play arena they normally explain their plays well and you get to know what you should do, also amaz plays a lot of arena and he is good at it but his voice is annoying AF.
The fundamentals of arena I learned and I think are very vital:
1. play to win and not to "not lose" - you can a lot of the time make plays that are risky but let you win rather than make plays that are just safe and won't win you the game. sometimes you need to jam those fire balls in the face cause you got a 3 turns lethal in hand.
2. tempo is important but sometimes it's not the best play- yes sometimes you can do the best tempo play but sometimes it's not the best play specially if you have AOE or hard removal.. you need to know your game plan.
3. play around stuff specially commons like bonemere or scalebane, ask yourself if you can clear whole board in turn 4 and 6 which is quite vital even if you don't make the best tempo play, denying a bonemere is very important.
4. play around stuff in general , according to classes.
5. if a hero that has a ping HP plays HP on turn 3 it's worth it, so playing a 3/1 in turn 3 against them is not a mistake.
6. draft with helpers if you don't know all the card values/synergies well, take your time you don't have anything that limits the time you have to choose cards.. also try to have a game plan by your 20th pick or something so you know what you should take, also have in mind curve or aoe you have. in the dual arena format I had like 4-5 AOEs so I felt ok about not having much early game I had 2 drafts like that and I gone to 10 and 12 wins.
