So on one of my last games before the Taverns of Time event I was Warrior against Druid. Druid was at around 10 health and had a Chillwind Yeti on board, I had 17 health (well, 15 and 2 armour) and a 2-drop. Had the option of playing a fully upgraded Lesser Mithril Spellstone or a Tar Lord. Obviously I played the Spellstone to push for lethal because what could happen, right? Turns out the 4 cards he had in hand were 3x Savage Roar and a Claw, giving him 18 damage with the Yeti. And he must have topdecked one of those! Absolutely sickening.
lel that is disgusting, but you made the correct play anyways.
Turns out, getting a Vex Crow out of Unstable Evolution is pretty good. Then, if the totem you use the evolution on turns into a Radiant Elemental, it becomes downright hilarious. Too bad I wasn't the one who was doing that...
This was probably one of the best arena games i have ever had :D The match was rather back and forth, my opponent had TONS of card generation and while low on health, he was still in the game. But the power of the Bone Drake cannot be underestimated :D
Playing a paladin as a mage at 2-0, I got their health down to 15 early, then tried to hold on as they came back. They played Murozond and slowly started taking over the board courtesy of their extra card draw. I held them at bay as best I could, chipping their life down into single digits. Finally, they played a Silver Sword and started emoting BM as they pumped their minions and cleared my minions with their face in preparation for rushing me down. I then hit them with a Blizzard, followed by a top-decked Frost Nova next turn, and watched as they hit fatigue from their extra card draw and died. I love beating Silver Sword-bearing paladins.
Temporal Anomaly, you had one job! Do you see any secrets in my deck? I dont!
The more you know ...
Stasis Elemental apparently remembers which minion it froze and bouncing said minion back into your hand and replaying it will still keep it frozen. Needless to say i lost that game ... i know, dirty Silver Sword paladin :p
Dormant minions dont count as "minions". Lone Champion triggered with dormant Stasis Dragon on the board.
Did i ever tell you i HATE secrets? No? Yeah, i hate secrets :x
MCT Arena appreciation post. Mind you this guy kept BMing constantly after every silver sword hit. I just wish I could see his face after it was all said and done.
That is a rly nice deck. Tho no card draw or card generation (besides Bone Drake) i imagine that must have sucked lot of times, but 11 wins is rly nice, good job!
Just had a perfect game that demonstrated why Armor actually doesnt matter in arena. This is where it started and at this exact moment, i knew he would get a lot more of it, since killing the Armorsmith with Holy Water now would probably cost me too much tempo and valuable removal and eventually the game. I knew if i wanted to win, the Armor wouldnt matter in the end. And it didnt. Also, this is a prime example why priest is so stupid in arena right now.
I had a Mage arena draft on my other account with a Witch's Cauldron, a Knife Juggler, plus three Frostbolts and a few tauntosses to protect those two. ("Tauntoss" is my term for a minion that either is a Taunt minion or generates them; Ghastly Conjurer is an example of the latter from my deck.)
I faced a paladin with the legend card back and a very good draft at 0-0. Needless to say I lost that one.
I did kill a druid with Lightning Bolt for the first win at 0-1, mainly because said druid kept Witch's Cauldron alive the entire match due to tauntosses getting in his way and/or just ignorance for the laughs. The second win was a close one against Warrior, in which Raid Leader and a board of mediocre minions such as Murloc Tidehunter and Spellshifter eventually finished him off with me being fresh into fatigue and him having 1-2 cards left, bringing me to 2-1. Then a hunter with 2 Explosive Shots, at least one Arcane Shot, and I forget what else prevailed against me, incurring my second loss.
I was listening to music on shuffle during all of this, and just as I was about to enter my next match, Cemetery Gates by Pantera starts playing, and I'm thinking "That's probably not a good sign." Then, a paladin appears and proceeds to wreck me from the start, with Silver Sword being involved towards the end, all while Cemetery Gates is playing. If I ever stream, I will likely remove that song from my playlist for the reason of what happened today.

162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
Sorry to post twice in a row. I just had to share this moment from my warlock arena on my main account. My Jaraxxus was from Dark Possession; and my rogue opponent got his from Hallucination. He played his first, and I was thinking I could win in a Jaraxxus mirror quite quickly with my board plus Doomguard in hand. I was correct.

My funniest match (probably caused the opponent to break his/her keybord:))
Really crappy warlock deck but it has Prince Malchezaar. Opponent was an amazing mage 2-3 firelands portals, fs, blizz, fireball almost every nightmare u can imagine. Anyway around turn 12-13, finally clear the board, ı have nothing she/he has nothing, no card at my hand10-12 card left in my deck, I was down to 6 hp and opponent is around 20. Then bam, I got strucked by a frostbolt and pinged 2 hp left. My turn, draw a card and then I realized that my fellow prince gave me alex. Hop up to 15. and a nice dragon on board. And suddenly emotes like "amazing, my magic will tear you apart" s started to rise :).
Then she/he managed to kill alex again try to build a board, ı also put some minions than 3-4 turns more all my board is again dead and waiting my opponent to disconnect but no luck for me. Then again my buddy prince make a move and gave me deathwing :D., Same story emotes,emotes,emotes... :D He/she played ghastly conjurer and managed to kill d.w, then my last 2 card and nothing on board or hands of both of us and I am down to 1!, Then THE Prince make another joke, with the following sound my savior comes."We're gonna be rich".
My opponent lost the game due to fatigue. The funniest match I have ever played till now. Even more exting game then the first time I hit legend

Dont worry about posting several times in a row, thats what this topic is for :) Anyway, pretty cool Jaraxxus vs Jaraxxus battle :)
1: Not a good thing to play Aluneth if you are ahead and don't have a good way to finish the match.
2: No matter how bad it looks, if you are going to play a bad situation untill the end, you should still care about positioning your minions properly (I am a lucky ass and wasn't punished for that).
3: It doesn't how much life you have if you atleast have 1 at the end of the match.
So my run should have ended at 7 wins. My deck really isn't that strong, it's too slow if I don't get a lucky draw.
Paladin had the tempo on me and I had a bad mulligan. Very few good low-cost cards to begin with. So, turn 3 he already had 3 small minions on the board, I played Violet Haze into Twig of the World Tree. Played the Twig on turn 4 and activated it on turn 5 with 15 health left. I really shouldn't have won that game.
Drafted a Mage deck with mostly elementals, so also picked, Lesser Ruby Spellstone. What are the chances of getting 3 same spells?
lel that is disgusting, but you made the correct play anyways.

Sometimes you need to appreciate the mayhem. You sure don't get stories like this in constructed ;).

When your opponent spends every turn using emotes instead of making good plays.
So what can we learn from this match https://hsreplay.net/replay/aGxoi4KCDNUa4eZmE4oXdQ ?
1: Not a good thing to play Aluneth if you are ahead and don't have a good way to finish the match.
2: No matter how bad it looks, if you are going to play a bad situation untill the end, you should still care about positioning your minions properly (I am a lucky ass and wasn't punished for that).
3: It doesn't how much life you have if you atleast have 1 at the end of the match.
4: We love and hate MCT.
