I find it interesting like pretty much all of u say that Stubborn Gastropod is better than Druid of the Swarm's poison form cause of the taunt. I actually think its worse exactly cause of the taunt. Sure taunt can deny attack from the big minion your opponent doesnt want to trade with into it, but not having a taunt lets u play it behind your own taunt like Emperor Cobra and your opponent has to either use removal from hand, aoe or something like that, which i like way more. Most of the time u play gastropod when something u want to remove is on the board already anyways and its on your opponent to deal with it, so ur not rly gettin that much of an advantage from the taunt, beside it being an actual taunt minion for obvious reasons.
Ya'all overrating Rotface. It has 6 health, on Turn 8, SIX HEALTH!
And u and many ppl act like at that stage of the game your opponent is pumping one 8+ cost card after the other ... like ur never using a rogue/druid hero power to trade or battle with small minions anymore right? lol :P
Rotface is certainly not that great of a card, but in an average situation, i can certainly see it triggering once ... or eating a hard removal, in which case its no different from any other big drop.
Forge of Souls (2): Pretty good card if u have at least like 2 weapons, mby at least 3. I mean even if it would give u only 1 weapon, id say u will be happy, cause chances r ur hurtin for removal. If u have plenty of weapons its nice to get them right away and thin your deck a little. Definitely better than Ice Fishing.

By Turn 8 if I'm not putting out minions with at least 6 attack i'm pretty sure I'm losing the game anyway. Sure there's situations where you're instead flooding the board with 3/4 mana minions but...that's a less than ideal situation. I might give him a 4 but any higher seems mad. I mean it's worth remembering he's evaluated in the context of other Legendaries.

Well i would like to see an average deck, that has multiple 6+ attack minions. Most big drops u get nowdays have more like 5 attack. And even then u dont get that many of them (or more like dont want too many of em), so rotface might not be the best T8 play, but u can decide not to play it on T8 into an enemy 6+ attack minion, u might want to play removal anyway, its just a big lategame drop that can (needs) to get an extra value and in an average game like i said, i can easilly see him trigger at least once. Ofc in the terms of legendary minions that u might be offered it is an average card at best, but i wasnt rly trying to evaluate it from that standpoint.
I took a look at the last 5 decks I've drafted to see how many minions had 6+ attack.
First - 5 Second - 4 Third - 3 (and this was a very aggro deck) Fourth - 4 Fifth - 4
That's not including buffing existing minions (stuff like Kings/Stegadon etc. greatly increases the cards that'd kill it in one) and doesn't include cheap hard removal like Fireball and SW:D. I'm not saying the guy can't get value, but I'm saying the chances of him getting value aren't worth it compared to having a legitimately good 8 drop in place - I'd rather have a Charged Devilsaur personally.

Well i would like Charged Devilsaur instead of this as well any day :p i would actually like to see u draft sometimes, looks like ur being quite greedy or mby just lucky to get the good kind of 6+ minions :) And "very aggro" deck with 3 of those that seems interesting as well :))
Forge of Souls Rating 3(Average): The value of this card definitely goes up if you've drafted at least 3 weapons, otherwise it's hard to predict when you are gonna draw this. Considering my last Warrior draft I got offered (no joke) 5 Arcanite Reaper and 2 Fiery War Axe, this might not be a bad deal.

What are your arena ratings? I disagree with many of your opinions so I want to know the credibility of this thread. As far as I'm concerned this is just an aesthetically really well looking thread, but other than that it's just one avrage (in terms of HS skills) person's opinion.

If you disagree with something then this is the place you discuss it.
I've created threads just like this for every single expansion and I'll be the first to admit that I don't always get it right. I'm an ordinary guy with a full-time job, family, and I somehow still find time to create content every single day on this website without being paid a cent because I'm passionate about Hearthstone.
This thread isn't about being right or wrong. It's about having a conversation and learning from a different point of view.

Breath of Sindragosa is a super premium card. Wins you a huge tempo advantage in the early game, costs nothing with the mage 3/2 2 drop (can't remember the card name) and freezes a minion in addition to all of that which makes it valuable still in the late game for pushing face damage with a tempo deck. This plus Mana Wyrm will win a lot of games by crushing your opponent in the first 3 turns. Tempo mage is back with this card since it's a common. Better than Frostbolt IMO.
Apologies, I didn't read the card properly. Completely missed that it was a random target. Def not better than Frostbolt. FML.

Lots of us manage to disagree and be part of the conversation here without sitting quite so high upon our horse.

I don't see how 3-5 late game cards can be classified as greedy in the slightest? I mean I had a Priest deck for example with a Charged Devilsaur, a Free From Amber, 2 Temple Enforcers and a Bog Creeper. The other 25 cards in my deck were 5 mana or lower - if anything that's a pretty low curve, not a high one.

Well, thats why i said that mby ur lucky to get offered the good kind of 6+ (attack) minions, so those r your only lategame cards. But i assumed that since we talked specifically about the 6+ attack minions, which r not THAT common, u would have quite a few other late drops with 5 attack for example, which would make the drafts kinda greedy :) ofc since i didnt know the entire deck, it just looked kinda greedy to me, but mby it wasnt at all and those picks were strategic :) Same thing for that aggro deck u mentioned :)

Feel free to submit your own ratings and/or thoughts, thats what this thread is for, we will like to see another persons thoughts on the cards for sure. We r all passionate about some of the cards and try to convince others why we think they r valuable and by doing that we get to see how others view the cards and their arguments, mby it will help us to adjust our own opinions on the cards or make us think harder to provide stronger arguments for our point of view. So ... cmon! :p
Snowfury Giant (3): I dont rly play shaman that much, but i dont believe u draft that many overload spells on average. I would see this being like 7 cost 8/8 on average if u wanted to play it on curve kinda, which is decent, but nothing that special. The more overload cards u have the better this card is obviously :) One thing is certain tho, this will be a card to watch out for (even tho its epic ... and shaman :D) and u should start counting your opponents overloaded mana, so u can see it coming and mby prepare for it.
