This is totally crazy. It's literally every single game mage into mage into mage. And they have most ridicolous cards. I've just played against a guy who had Meteor into Firelands Portal into Polymorph into Meteor into Flamestrike. I'm not saying that he had a crazy deck, i've myself had crazy mage decks. I'm saying that mage is seriously broken in arena since increase of the spells. It wouldn't be such a big deal if other classes had anything as good as mage. It's not enjoyable when there is just one class playable in arena, the other i've played mage and from 2nd game to like 10th game i was just playing against other mages.
Am i just having bad luck and getting paired with Mages or is this just like Warlock simulator from MSoG when everyone played Warlocks. Is it even worth to play other classes or should i just retire decks if i don't get Mage offered? I've had some succes with Paladin and Rogue. But that's it. Other classes are pretty much dead, they can't outvalue Mages.
I've been playing arena since GVG and this is the worst arena meta that I've played in.
Kripp was extra salty last night and showed his stats and said 80% of his opponents are Mage, Paladin, Rogue, and Priest. So make sure to pick those classes if you care about farming gold or the leaderboard.
It's hard not to be mad at Blizzard for screwing up arena again. But always remember to adapt to the meta and think what cards counter the best classes and what archetypes will work best in this meta.

I'm completely bored of Mage, count me as one player who avoids picking Mage and doesn't contribute to the masses.
Though I disagree that this is the worst meta ever, there is still something interesting about the differences, does it suck that you can't get by with an average deck? Yes, but the games can get intense. Sometimes you sit there after a win, after your opponent played every good mage card, or every good paladin card, multiple times, and you wonder how you even managed that win. Yes, the other side of that, the losses, can leave a bad taste, but I can definitely think of a few times when the meta was much more atrocious.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
