Seriously? I used to get around 2-8 wins per run. Now I'm lucky to get 2. The decks I've faced have been insane! Answer after answer and I can't get a board. I just get faced rushed and dead. I'm an average player, but this is seriously uncool.
For me so far it's slower which is good, but more unbalanced which is bad. Decks vary a lot more now, you can truly draft something that is impossible to work with, or absolutely insane. I haven't made up my mind how I feel about it overall yet.

Interesting that you find it slower. I've found it faster and I get my face smashed in before I can even get a board! It's very frustrating. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm not drafting enough early game...
I've only played one round with the changes, and I drafted a warlock deck with some decent demon synergy. Built it around a zoo idea, and I did decent with it. 5-3 is better I normally do, but one round isn't conclusive evidence. Personally I'll be looking into what Kripp has to say after a few weeks.
As an experienced player I'm loving the change myself. Every fresh meta means there's a lot of people that has no idea what's going on, and external apps like Heartharena had not adjusted accordingly to the new meta, so the drafting process means decks are overall weaker.
Every fresh meta I show an increase in winrate by almost 0.5 games, which is nice. If you still play with the same classes and drafts the same, you will experience losses.

Lower win rates just means a more competitive meta and the fact that your not as used to this one. I'd wait like a month and see if your wr creeps up over time and than complain, instead of waiting a day and probally have one or two and arenas and getting upset over that.
Arena is so much more fun now. Happy. It's not about a trillion op common class cards now. Drafting and actual game make a lot more sense and do require a little more than just throwing infernals and flamestrikes.
Most wins i get are because ppl fail to realise that minion tempo play is no longer that solid in arena. Srsly, would you draft 3 STB on a rogue? prob not.
I'm mostly enjoying the new meta because I like experimenting with new archetypes and it's nice to see more midrange drafts. But there is a big problem and its affecting the top players.
The secret to a high leaderboard result is drafting and playing aggressively when you are given bad cards. It is very difficult to do this now and I'm noticing the averages of top streamers dropping. I never thought I would say this, but arena needs more aggro drafts to balance the meta.
I like seeing more spells, and going second seems less bad in this meta, but the draft system needs to have more 2 drops to make drafts consistent.

Before, you used to be able to get 7-8 wins consistently by playing around nothing and drafting really aggressive decks. But since they increased the rate of spells in arena, you can't play that way anymore. You will get punished more often. That doesn't mean the new mode is bad, just that you'll have to reevaluate how you play arena.
The gap between a good deck and a bad one is much bigger than it used to be. If you were good and had a bit of luck, you could do reasonably well even with a mediocre deck. Nowadays, it's not possible. It's not fun to pilot a shitty deck against constructed-like decks.
It's cause arena isn't a brainless go turn 1 or 2 and just play the most tempo plays anymore. The meta slowed down and to boot the fact that a lot of the overpowered cards in arena left, I feel like the decks are becoming more level with each other now because of the fact that it's not that rare to get epics/legendaries in your draft anymore.
You also can't use the arena drafting programs like heartharena anymore because those were based on the old arena. Those programs gauged how strong of a tempo play cards would make but the arena meta isn't exactly a purely tempo meta anymore. There are more spells in decks and more things that can punish you in the game. This is way better than the old arena because now you actually have to really think about and experiment what's working in the meta.
If you want to do better at arena, you have to learn how to build your deck better yourself and learn what to play around now. (Ex. flamestrike is a lot less more common from mages because there are a lower amount of common cards in the draft)
I've been recently drafting more cards that are stronger in the mid-late game and it's been working out for me.
Any one can have any of the extreme experiences. Draft perfect curves prior to the change and poor curves after or vice-a-versa. It's random. I personally have had some insanely bad drafts and then proceeded to face near constructed deck in match 1, 2 and 3. It's just really really really bad luck on RNG. I've watched stream era whine about how you shouldn't be paired with 12 wind quality decks on match one (which is just ignorant at best), that would assume if you craft a 70+ rated deck you just go straight to final boss so no one else has to deal with you insane deck.
Also, for those saying it feels more constructed because of synergies, whether we like it or not that's what blizz wanted. Higher rate of spells and higher synergies.

Has anybody else felt it?
I'm looking forward to Un'Goro.
Idk if it's just me but my wr has improved since the arena change
I got two legendaries in my first draft. Managed 1-3 because I had only one 2-drop and two 3-drops in my deck. Drafts feel very uneven.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
Same here. Facing almost constructed decks full of synergies. For some reason i can't draft this type of decks(
I missed old arena. It was way more balanced and playable.

today arena offered me 2 times 1-mana, 3 times 2-mana, 1 time 5-mana
my deck was consisting of all 3-4 and some 6+ mana
this is the most broken curve i have ever drafted. there must be a problem in the new system.
I play arena alot, and my avg is 6-8 wins. After this patch, my avg is 4, my best is 7..
playing priest with lots of 1 and 2 drops guarantees you a 4+ wins.. my best was with shaman though
Minions, servants, soldiers of the cold dark! Obey the call...of Kel'Thuzad!

I got 10-3 on my first Standard Arena. Seems slower than before. Most opponents didn't have usual aggressive curve: 1-drop, 2-drop, 3-drop...
Had 2 legendaries and both were very useful (Wickerflame Burnbristle and The Curator)
