It really depends on your playstyle and drafting ability. I'm a slightly above-average arena player with very limited playing time, and my best classes are Priest, Warrior, and Hunter. On the other hand, the classes I have the worst record against are Warrior and Shaman. Read into that whatever you like.
What's more important is to play the classes you like and enjoy playing. Don't rely on the "common wisdom." Play your way and have fun. You'll have more success that way.

i play cubelock and lose 5 games in a row then i play odd paladin and get my stars back wash rinse repeat

For me best classes currently are Shaman (two recent 12 wins) than Paladin.
