Are you kidding me? I keep getting into games with people who run Deathwing in their deck, have 0 cards to play and 0 at the table. They draw 1 card and get deathwing. Game over.
WTF? I barely ever even get a legendary pick at arena and I run into 3 deathwings in 3 different arena runs...
+1, happened to me last week too...went against two consecutive opponents having deathwing, I had board, they had one card, we were both at ~10hp, you know the rest... -.-'
So I just won in one of the stupidest ways ever. Mage(me) vs. Warlock, T1 is nothing, coin life tap?(28), T2 isSnowchugger, life tap(26), T3 is Sorcerer's Apprentice face with chuga chuga(24), Succubus, T4 is 2nd Sorcerer's Apprentice ping all face(18), Piloted Shredder kill snowchugger, T5 is attack face(12) double Fireball face(0).
Priest (me) vs Shaman. Things start off fairly poorly for me, with him managing to counter my plays (Spellbreaker on my Velen's Chosen-buffed River Crocolisk), eventually leaving him on turn 8 with a board consisting of: A 2/1 (I don't remember exactly what it was), 2 1/1 spectral spiders, a 4/1 Spellbreaker, a 3/4 Spider Tank and a 0/2 Stoneclaw. I proceed to topdeck Mind Control Tech which proceeds to steal his Spider Tank. One "My apologies later", Holy Nova wipes both his entire board and, more or less, his chance of winning the game (Albeit it was a bit close: Last turn he dropped Molten Giant and gave it Windfury. Thankfully I had lethal in 11 damage on board + Velen's Chosen vs his 13 health and no taunts).
Oponent left at 9 HP and I have laethal next turn.Oponent doesnt have cards in hand and no minions on board, play arcane intelect into frostbolt+fireball and wins
I played against a mage that Unstable Portal on turn 2, then coined into Dr. Boom on turn 3. I couldn't help but scream and rage quit. Like. Seriously. *eyeroll*
I was at 4 health, my enemy at 8. I had 4 minions on board, my enemy none, but he did have a Fiery War Axe out. He plays Warsong Commander and then Mind Control Tech. He thinks he has lethal this way, as he should. Unfortunately for him, he stole my Stormwind Champion, buffing his MC Tech to a 4/4, therefore not getting the Warsong Commander buff. :D
Out of sufficient mana to play any more minions, he slams his Fiery War Axe into my minion for ultimate seppuku.

I played like 3 oil rogues in arena today, two of them yoled and topdecked Sap in the end, or they would not be able to finish me off, 3rd one had Auctioneer + Conceal and draw half of his deck ... good times.
Ok I think this is literally the luckiest thing I've ever seen. A guy topdecked wrath, to draw into starfire, to draw into mark of the wild. All of this he needed exactly that turn to aim at my face for exact lethal otherwise he was dead. His hand was empty.
TOPDECK INTO TOPDECK INTO TOPDECK. In the same turn, 3 perfect topdecks for 7 bonus damage! Wow. Amazingly lucky doesn't even begin to describe this asshat who obviously couldn't resist saying "well played" ( to himself, as all idiots who say "well played" when winning ) as he won the game.
What a piece of human garbage not only for sucking all the luck in the universe so that people die yearly in freak accidents, but because he also smugly self-congratulates when he wins thanks to his extreme fortune. I hope he enjoys spending an eternity in hell after he dies because there's no way he didn't sell his soul to some kind of demon.
This is worse than that time someone topdecked starfire into swipe on me or when someone holy wrathed for exactly 8 ( what they needed ) to win that turn. Congratulations, sincerely.
I "well played" after every game, win or lose.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Current decks: Handlock, Ramp Druid, Control Warrior. My goal: 12 arena wins, beat all da Hunterz. Longtime magic player.
I played as Priest against a Shaman. I pass my first turn, he coins out a Nerubian Egg. On turn 2 I play a Wild Pyro. He plays Reincarnate on the Egg. I have nothing to play on turn 3, he plays Flametongue Totem. The next 2 turns he plays Fireguard Destroyers and rolls 7 on both of them. After that I conceded and cried a little in the corner of my room.
Final boss. Shaman vs. Mage, I have lethal showing on board and an 0/2 taunt totem but am at 8 life. The mage top decks crazed alchemist to remove my taunt and plays the King Krush that has been waiting since turn 3 summoned from an unstable portal (god, I hate this card).
after pick 22 (3rd legendary) i thouth i get some wins but the deck got destroyed every match by turn 5
i think the worst was game 3 with two 7/4 and another minion from my oponent with an empty board on my side and absolutely no answer
The deck doesnt look all that good and alexa and mukla are quite crap, but to get 0 wins with this, u had to have some unimaginable bad luck :O mby u played mukla wrong and got f*** by bannanas every time? dunno.
well i didn't expected to get 12 wins or something. but thought that 5 wins (at least) were manageable.
Mukla was a choice between him, Nozdormu and Malygos. since i needed more early plays at that moment and i had close to zero spells i picked mukla.
Alex (the first option... got her again at the Vol'jin Pick) was a decision between her, the beast and Harrison on the very first pick of the run. was a toos-up between her and harrison for me but meh ^^
ooh and the experimenter... should have gotten ancient watcher or target dummy on his pick :D
and as i said... all matches were decided around turn 6. Warlock hat perfect draw and felt a little bit like constructed. Warrior... okay it lasted till turn 8. Had a weapon up pretty much every turn and on turn 8 he had a heavy board and i nothing. including no answer.
paladin fucked me up with Noble SacrificeAvenge Combo and got as i said a board with two 7/4. on that turn i had 18 life left and he got 16 damage on board. without board clear on hand (or in the deck). at that point mukla was the only one i could play.

You can't stop the signal.

Then next game I win on turn 6 because my priest opponent goes Goldshire Footman, nothing, nothing, nothing(not even heal face turns 3 or 4), Stormpike Commando, Tinkmaster Overspark that turns my Fen Creeper into a 5/5.
Favorite class: keeping all 9 of them equal in level.

My recent opponent had a bad beat just now.

This is a hilarious one. I'd be so mad.
Yep.
well i got pretty much wrecked 5 minutes ago... literally mindblown facing a paladin at 3-0
his plays:
turn 1: Cogmaster
turn 2: Mechwarper
turn 3: Shielded Minibot and Acidic Swamp Ooze
turn 4: Cobalt Guardian into
turn 5: Harvest Golem
turn 6: Sea Giant
not describing the exaxt turns since these draws were simply ridiculous... wow... just wow oO
felt like constructed...
Lightspawn with Power Word: Shield turn 5.
Enhance-o Mechano and Divine Spirit on turn 6.
28 damage to face.
Had a match pretty much won. Them he draws a Deathwing.
it's usually a priest. Luckily I don't face a lot of them.
Only 2 wins in I just played a constructed Oil Rogue deck : 3 Backstabs, 2 Eviscerate, Deadly Poison, Piloted Shredder, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil ...even Loatheb!
I played like 3 oil rogues in arena today, two of them yoled and topdecked Sap in the end, or they would not be able to finish me off, 3rd one had Auctioneer + Conceal and draw half of his deck ... good times.
