I'll start: - if playing against a Mage, good idea is to try to make him use his hero power (ping you) on turn 3 - if playing as Mage pick some cards which draw (or discover) new cards since you want a late game advantage
If you want to get good at arena, I recommend ADWCTA's videos (find 'em on youtube). I'm still not very good, but I enjoy watching him.
Something Kripp said that I think I still need to learn is: #1 build decks to your class. If you're rogue or warlock: go fast. If you're mage: go slow. I'm just coming to realise how much of a difference this can make because the tier lists don't really tend to include this concept.
- Kripp is a slightly above average arena player, if you want a good one watch Hafu.
- When drafting, go with the flow, if you aren't getting good cards for the type of deck you'd prefer, don't force it.
- When choosing between cards with similar value, variety is better. One Yeti and one Tazdingo are better than two of either because options are important.
- Try to learn playing Rogue, if you can't, then play Mage or Paladin. Avoid Warrior at all costs.
Know your win conditions. Depending on the decks, it could be: outvalue your opponent to get card advantage, outtempo/rush him, survive until late game to drop your big minions or flamestrike, go all in, etc.
Also don't always pick the stronger card when drafting, sometimes you need to draft for a better curve.
Think about every possibilities each turn to give yourself a better position on the board and also plan for next turn.
If your opponent is mage and his next turn is 7, then you should play a minion that survive flamestrike and dont overcommit small guys when he has nothing on the board and you have 3 minions as there is no reason to. There are situations however when your hand is almost empty, then going all in and forcing him to have flamestrike is the best play.

-Kripps results with Mage/Rogue are ridiculous / Hafu basically hasn't played Arena since WOG
-Agree
-Agree
-Warrior is an excellent choice. Top 5 depending on player, definitely not bottom tier like previous expansions.
Avoid Hunter and Priest at all costs, and if you have to pick warrior, you ain't gettin anywhere without weapons, they're really mvp;
Doint coin a two drop if in the next turn you dont have anything to play;
Positioning is very important, try to put your weakest minion in the middle, and if you have a minion with a abillity like Faerie Dragon it also goes to the middle of the board, this will prevent your minions getting destroyed by cards like Betrayal, Cone of Cold, Explosive shot, etc.
If you're playing shaman, positioning might be the main factor to win games, a good positioned Flametongue totem can win you the game and remember that your totems/spirit wolves will always spawn in the same place ---->.
Last time someone bothered to collect actual stats on arena streamers Kripp had a <70% win average (68% if i recall correctly) while playing the top 3 classes in more than 50% of his runs, while a few other streamers like Merps had higher winrates while playing all classes (Hafu even avoiding the stronger ones because she finds them boring).
As for the Warrior, the last expansion was kind to them, but they still have the weakest hero power in the game by a large margin, which is VERY important in the arena. Even if Warrior escaped the terrible ~40% win average hearthstats presented in the past, it's still among the hardest classes to play in arena, without being as rewarding.
Edit: I did not know Hafu has almost stopped playing arena, that makes it a bad tip i guess :)
Another tip that hasn't been mentioned by everyone else: Slow. The fuck. Down.
I've seen so many opponents misplay and lose the game just because they didn't take the time to think over it. Quick example: Opponent playing a Deathrattle minion, then an Unearthed Raptor, in that order within 3 seconds of the turn starting. "Mistakes were made," alright.
Check and recheck your move, consider other options, then execute it. It seems so basic yet I've encountered many opponents who do this.

The last stats collected, Kripp was at the top of the streamer list. At least for WOG.
I also remember it was insane - powered by a 100 in 9 run. So he has since gotten into the groove.
I don't think he is the best overall, there are a lot better rounded players IMO, but his % is quite strong at least for the top classes.
Warrior is definately in the middle ranks now for Arena, yes their hero power sucks and you need a decent draft, but not all classes can be MAge or Rogue =)
In general, draft every board clear you see, unless there's an extremely good reason not to. Like having 5 of them already or being offered Sap or something.
Similarly, in general draft every decent hard removal you see, provided you aren't thereby missing out on drafting a board clear or there's some extremely good reason not to.
Finally, in general draft every decent Discover card you see, provided you aren't thereby missing out on drafting a board clear or hard removal or there's some extremely good reason not to.
Let's see, what else...
Tap first. Same goes for any other draw mechanic.
Don't mulligan Truesilver away.
On turns 4+, there are always more options than you will immediately see. Look for them.
On that note, plan how you will efficiently curve out on later turns before taking your current one.
Tempo is everything unless you're a mage. Even then it's almost everything.
Don't choose Hunter. Warrior and Priest are difficult to master, but despite rumors to the contrary, both can be very effective if drafted and played correctly. But I've yet to see a Hunter without 2x Call of the Overpowered at high wins.
Your opponent has Mind Control Tech. I know it's a rare. Don't ask questions. He just has it.
- Don't play around everything at the same time. Instead, consider what you can play around while maintaining a winning advantage and ignore every other possibility.
As an example, if your deck has a very low curve with no realistic late game, then playing around boardclears gives your opponent time while leading you to a topdeck war you can't win. If he/she does have that Flamestrike, you weren't gonna win anyway.
- Stop and think how you can win. Can you make your opponent run out of cards? Can you build a board they wont be able to answer? Do you need to go face because you can't outvalue them? I've won too many games against opponents who played the value game when they should have SMOrced, or played draw cards when they should be building a board.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Actually Warrior's been my second strongest class since Gods dropped, not sure where you're coming from with this statement.

Warrior was trash tier before Whispers, but slowly gained momentum since LoE. You've got monkey, you've got the other Dr. 7, you've got the 1-drop pirate, etc.

This might sound like a scrub move but use hearth arena to make "better" decks.
watch Kripps stream =)

I like OPs tips. Thanks :)

Not all who wander are lost.
Always pick Rogue
I know they usually won't. Playing around it also plays around board clears, which they do likely have. :)
But yes, I suppose even that's situational.
