I went with a Mage for my free entry. Offered 0 Flamestrike, 0 Cone of Cold and 0 Arcane Explosion, not even a Shieldmasta in the non-class specific cards. Overall quite poor offerings and I'm sure the deck is crap, fully expecting 0-3. I've watched a lot of videos and this seems to be one of the worst draft offerings in the history of arena. I'm curious if I drafted properly from what I was offered and if offering wise it really is as bad as I think it is?
You got a bunch of fireballs and frostbolts and even poly. Its fine, several differences in opinion (like the dalaran mage choices) but whatever, not terrible.
I would not have picked the argent squire in this situation. It may be a good one drop, but you don't need one drops in most decks.
Overall, I agree with most of your picks.
The only ones I strongly disagree with are with picking the demolisher and crazed alchemist over the wild pyromancer. You don't really have any good two drops with this deck. In doing this, I would've also traded the ooze out for a cult master.
I also wouldn't have picked ice lance over the farseer and I wouldn't have picked the murloc tidehunter over the stormwind knight.
I took Ice Lance to go with Frost Bolt for big creature removal. Murloc to have something early. Also the reason I took the Ooze over the Cult Master, like you said, no 2 drops. I didn't take the Pyromancer because it'd kill my stuff too and not live very long. Suppose I should've taken the Farseer to go with the Berserker now that I think of it. Lost horribly to a deck with actual good rares and a legendary. Managed to win against a Rogue that didn't seem to have any idea what they were doing. Though they were up 27-9 at one point.
8. Being an early pick I was expecting spells. Couldn't predict I'd barely get any at card 8 right?
10. Again, early. Thought I'd have more taunt and spells. One of the two at here and 30 won me the only game I won. By the time the second one game at 30 I was trying to make up for the complete lack of aoe.
17. I did consider it but Frostbolt.
20. Demolisher was supposed to be the board control but yes, lack of taunt has made it worthless.
30. Not secrets so didn't think it'd be a good pick.
I know Flamestrike is a must, that's why I mentioned it was bad I didn't get any or the Arcane Explosion. Couldn't do a thing against a Paladin. The individual removal isn't good against a bunch of small creatures and I had nothing to play on the field either. Like I said no early taunt or anything like that either.
Doesn't seem better than average from what I've watched but ok.
Thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can do better next time and record that one too.
Next and last game was against a Priest. Shadow Worded my Berserker and again was done in due to no aoe removal. Didn't have much in the way of creatures to compete either. Got 2 rares out of the pack at least, Injured Blademaster and a gold Master of Disguise. Hope this next one goes better...
2. Harvest Golem* - Mirror Image - Ironfur Grizzly - I say incorrect for this choice simply because Mirror Image supplies you with Taunt when you need it and synergises well with say: Mana Addict. 5. Stormwind Knight - Goldshire Footman - Murloc Tidehunter* - I say incorrect here simply because Murloc Tidehunter tends to not trade well with anything and though the knight nor the footman do either, the Stormwind Knight has both Charge and a decent amount of health. 6. Darkscale Healer - Water Elemental* - Sorcerer's Apprentice - I say incorrect her simply because, though you're not guarenteed to get spells, it synergises well with all spells. 7. Raid Leader - Venture Co. Mercenary* - Arcane Missiles - I say incorrect here simply beacsue Arcane Missles is very cost effective especially when you have some spell damage in play.
10. Emperor Cobra - Ancient Mage* - Abomination - I say incorrect here simply because Abomination doubles as a decent Taunt minion and AoE removal. 11. Frostwolf Grunt - Sorcerer's Apprentice - Fireball* - I say incorrect here simply because you didn't take Sorcerer's Apprentice when I feel you should have, but if you had I would've also taken Fireball here. 12. Razorfen Hunter* - Leper Gnome - Silvermoon Guardian - I say incorrect here simply because Silvermoon Guardian is a great creature to have down on turn 4 because you're almost always guaranteed one kill with it. 13. Ice Lance - Gurubashi Berserker* - Nightblade - I say incorrect here simply because Gurubashi Berserker, while good, is easily dealt with and, if dealt with quickly enough, leaves you with nothing. I would've taken Nightblade because it's a guaranted 3 damage to the enemy hero and is a decently sized creature.
17. Acolye of Pain - Frostbolt* - Mad Bomber - I say incorrect here simply because card draw should almost always be top priority. 20. Pint-Sized Summoner - Demolisher* - Wild Pyromancer - I say incorrect here simply because, considering how many spells you have by this point, Wild Pyromancer can be pretty good removal if you happen to find yourself in a situation where your opponent has a lot of creatures. 21. Mirror Entity* - Frost Nova - Frostwolf Grunt - I say incorrect here simply because I feel that you should've taken Mirror Image when it first appered and because Frost Nova is a really good stall card. 23. Fireball* - Tauren Warrior - Stormwind Champion - I say incorrect here simply because, considering how many creatures you had at this point, Stormwind Champion is good late game and, by that point, usually benefits your greatly. 25. Dalaran Mage* - Abusive Sergeant - Loot Hoarder - I say incorrect here simply because Loot Hoarder = card draw. 29. Core Hound - Booty Bay Bodyguard* - Youthful Brewmaster - I say incorrect here simply because Youthful Brewmaster would've had a lot of use in this deck. 30. Ancient Mage* - Mana Addict - Kirin Tor Mage - I say incorrect here simply because, considering how many spells you had by this point, Mana Addict is a good card and would've synergised well in this deck.
I realise that I say "I say incorrect here simply because..." a lot and I apologize, lol. Please remember that everything I've mentioned is imply what I think and should be taken with a grain of salt. I hope you did/do well with this deck! :D

30. Ancient Mage* - Mana Addict - Kirin Tor Mage
In number 16 I would of picked Earthen ring farseer, ice lance is terrible.
In number 19 would of picked Argent squire, it's a great one drop.
A part from that it's not a terrible deck, I've seen worst...

Basically what Kyokin said. You actually have a better than average deck for arena, you have your removals/damage. Just a few pointers IMO.
*Frostbolt is the most OP spell in the game right now, always get as many as you can
*Flamestrike is a must, should only go for 2 though, if you can
*Your card offers were fine, it's actually better than average tbh
*Ice Lance is generally bad in arena, your best scenario is trading 2 cards for 1,
*Never blame the cards!
8. Being an early pick I was expecting spells. Couldn't predict I'd barely get any at card 8 right?

I would make a few changes but overall it isnt bad, personal preferences mostly.
