Some background on myself: Legend on ladder, 2500+ wins on Arena, 6+ win player since TGT, playing since launch etc.
Been in a slump past couple days (about 25 runs @ avg ~5 win rate) even with strong drafts getting very unlucky on top of baby raging moments have caused me to doubt some of my plays / drafts.
On first glance this deck looked decent enough - but played 1st game 0-0 against a very poor mage player and he grinded me into the ground. Again very depressing losing to this type of player and his deck. I feel the short fall is definitely the lack of card draw.
I am constantly trying to improve my game and push my win rate to 7+ but not sure what else I can focus on to help me achieve this.
You're missing strong 4-drops which is crucial for a tempo deck in arena, that will give you problems unless you got coin + Pit Fighter or lucky enough to get Dalaran Aspirant by T4 every game :P
Also the 3-drops are quite few and weak.

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
I think you have too many Reactionary cards and your early game is pretty weak with 7 X 1 and 2 drops.
Walking through your draft given what you had drafted so far I would have done picks 13 and 14 differently. You already have Conjour, Crusher and Pit fighter by this point so I would have probably taken Strider over a second crusher. And for 14 I would have absolutely taken juggles over a 3rd poly.
Also on pick 30 while you probably wont activate Blastmage you have 3 x 4 drops by this point and none of them have more than 3 attack. That 5/4 body is going to do more good for you than the 2/5 taunt.
@Fun - given the choices, not much room anywhere to add to the 3 or 4 minion slots through the draft. So ya sucks...
@Mamba - I agree the 2nd polymorph is a bit greedy on my part - the Juggler would have been the correct pick here in hindsight. The draft was still relatively early @ pick 13/14 so I was hopeful other options for 2-4 drops would come up and I would pass on further removal, which it sort of did happen. I did wrestle with the Purifier versus Blast mage for a couple minutes. In the end I valued the taunt a bit more since the deck didn't have any.
#30...you lack strong 4-drops, 5/4 is much better than a 2/5...in arena you consider most units to have taunt anyways unless you're Rogue or Warlock because those classes use their health as a resource a lot!
Only recorded my last 166 runs, heartharena has actually made me play less arena since it's so much stress filling in everything all the time, but I don't want to screw up the stats by not recording runs :P

@Funkality - I agree in hindsight the 2nd polymorph was too greedy on my part.
Interesting suggestion for 2nd arcane missile instead of Abusive Sergeant, I would think that AS was an auto pick here, but in hindsight with the minion quantity in the deck, it might not be as valuable as I'd hoped for.

Deck is 0-1 at the moment - i'll post an update when I am done. Hopefully can salvage a respectable record from this draft.
so i just have like ~140 wins overall in arena (but have also like 6 wins on average), so i dont have that much experience as you
but what i learned from arena and from watching Kripp a little bit is the early curve is insanely important. you have only 4 2-drops, 3 3-drops and 4 4-drops. that is imo way too less. you need 1-2 of each more. and there are more then enough removal spells. better have little late game and nothing to finish, then have little early game and no chance to survive till late
a somewhat obvious mistake - as others mentioned - is polymorph at and not flame juggler at #14, but there are more questionable choices as well
do you still use hearth arena on a regular basis? well you've taken 26/30 cards just as it suggested (with the highest score). i think after more then 2500 arena wins you have enough experience to draft on your own because then its easier to think about what your deck misses and not what is the strongest card out of that 3 (i know hearth arena has very sophisticated algorithms, but an experienced player can easily build an at least even deck without it)

I've only used HA recently to track draft choices for review, when I started playing Arena, I had to use spreadsheets to learn the ropes but most of these are my own valuations, they just coincide with the program often.
Yes I understand what you are saying about mana curve and the importance of lower drops. Unfortunately this is mostly an issue with the card choices I was presented with. In all instances where a 3 or less drop was OFFERED after pick #10, I did choose the drop or one of similar mana value EXCEPT the Polymorph vs Flame juggler pick. Same can be said about pick #9 which was Pit fighter versus Amani Berserker. Though higher valued early in the draft the Amani would have been a nice early game drop.
Again, these choices are in hindsight so I can't fret too much about how the deck turned. I was happy at the time taking 2nd polymorph as a 3rd hard removal.
If you skimmed quickly at the card choices again, you'll see very little argument for not taking the "stronger" valued card against the others in most cases unfortunately.
While a few of the picks may have been questionable I honestly dont know how good this deck could be even if you had chosen optimally. The cards that you didnt select for all 30 picks were not particularly amazing either so I would kind of chalk this up to bad luck with the draft.
Sometimes drafts just end up a bit messy. And yes there were a couple places you might have been able to make the better pick. But with each arena we improve our skill just that much more.
You aren't the only one in a slump either. Arena has been brutal for a lot of people lately. My average has been staying up close to 7 wins in part due to how good Rogue has been for me the past few weeks, But my Mage has been tanking a little bit as well, even though I know I should be doing better with it.
But we are all in this together. My battle tag is in my profile if you'd like to add me. Maybe we can co-op some time :)

We will see what happens ! =) thanks !
haha you are right, its always easier to say "you lack this and that" after the deck is done. i did look at your draft choices and i wouldve drafted a little different. i like making sure to first get enough early drops and then look for more expensive cards (unless you get really good late game like Kraken early on) but maybe thats just my style ... as i said you probally have more experience then me in arena but for instance i wouldve taken #9 the amani maybe even #21 the Hungry dragon
You can't always chase the perfect curve, that will leave you with mostly sub-par picks....I go with HA picks in at least 8/10 cases and I would actually consider myself as way above average in arena, I had to stop watching Trump as he makes waaay too many mistakes, get's me frustrated, like watching Amaz drafting :P
Kripp is the best arena streamer I've watched a lot I would assume Kibler is quite good in general as well and Ratzmatah or however you spell his nick is known to be insane, I've only watched him once and he played and drafted to utter perfection...he did a coaching lesson while I was watching, it was impressive. Cherrywarrior is this kinda awkward, but funny english troll-looking figure living in a basement drinking "tea" all the time, especially around 4:20, he's really good at drafting, but fucks up a quite lot during playing, funny is he always catches it right after he made the fuck up, a shame he play so much deathmetal, I can't stand listening to it =/ Noxious is not an arena streamer, but Noxious is awesome....just yeah...

As it turned out the deck went 3-3. Not due to curve or draw issues as we would have thought actually. Played 5 games in about 40 mins so these are not long games at all.
1) Lost to a priest while in control of game from T1-T6, he was facing lethal on the broad turn 7. He hungry dragon'd a Leper Gnome and then used Mind control tech to steal my 9/9 Crusher (25% chance). I responded with another 9/9 which he entombed. #babyrage
2) 3 games won with early minions + removals quickly actually.
3) Lost 3rd game against Druid. Again, he was facing lethal on the board on turn 9 (12hp) after being behind the whole game T1-T8, we both have 2 cards in hand and 2 minions on the board. I have a fireball in my hand, preparing to lose at least one of my minions. He top decks Force of Nature into Savage Roar from his hand and kills me from 26hp to 0hp.

Slump continues, but this is the type of crap I wish I was making up lol.
edit: I usually watch Kolento (ranked), Trump (because I think he's good to make fun of) and ADWCTA/Merps (arena).
Oh my god that last defeat sounds crushing, sucks so bad when that happens, doesn't exactly make you wanna jump into another run :P

Only picks I would've made different (without knowing how the deck would turn out) would be:
#14....Polymorph is not that good in arena anymore, Flame Juggler definitely is! (And you already had 2 poly effects)
#18...as you don't have that much early game, Abusive Sergeant is quite poor, I'd rather go with Arcane Missiles there.
#30...you lack strong 4-drops, 5/4 is much better than a 2/5...in arena you consider most units to have taunt anyways unless you're Rogue or Warlock because those classes use their health as a resource a lot!
But all the other 27 picks are exactly as I would've made them so we're pretty similar, I average 6.23 wins
