Playing with a friend is significantly harder than playing with a stranger. Blizzard tweaked the AI so that Mechazod is less powerful when u play against a stranger.
I played the turn 1 zombie chow, wasted turn 2 millhouse, continued to play on curve nearly every turn and beat him pretty strait forward. Not sure how people are losing, lol.

They lose because they get matched with you those other 99 times out of 100 you don't get perfect luck.

I dunno, I one shot most brawls without even knowing whats going on. Plus i only do brawl once a week for the free pack, and it seems I get perfect luck just about every time since I don't seem to lose many of them.
I won like 8 times with druid and ZERO with mage. Somehow all my druid 'opponents' think its smart to suicide all their 1 and 2 damage tokens on every turn -___-
I found that Druid is the harder of the 2 roles to play. The mage can be the biggest moron, as long as the druid knows what he's doing theres a chance.
So naturally I get fucking annoyed when i play medivh and the druid plays zombie chow turn 1, or coins out Millhouse, or fucking copies a haunted creeper instead of the moonkin!
What is bad about turn 1 zombie chow?
1.Wasted heal.
2.Wasted opportunity to soak more dmg later in the game while you and mage have something on the board same goes for other 1-2 drops both players have in the deck except the druid's aspirant.
Turn-1 zombie chow sometimes heals for 4 instead of 5. 2 damage will not kill him, it needs 4 or more damage, and at that point it is highly likely that medivh also got 4 or more damage.
Later in the game you want a nice board, 4-6 minions on each side, and you get there by building a board from turn 1 if you can.
So i really see no mistake in dropping a chow turn 1, as long as one or both players can follow up with another 1 or 2-drop. The only reason to not play one of the best 1-drops in turn 1 is when it is absolutely clear that you have no follow-up and that the board will be empty after he is dead.
I have to disagree. Okay, it is not a big misplay, but still it is one.
Chances that the Chow survives until your next turn are pretty slim, and in many cases the damage it takes would not go anywhere else (dmg to 3 random targets / minion with highest attack). So you didn't get anything from it, often not even the 4 heal. What I am actually trying to say: Building a board from turn 1 does not work - most of the time the drop made no difference at all except for that you cant use the card later on.
Instead, it is much better to save it for later, when you already have other minions on board so Mechazod cant kill them all. Also the point will come where you need the heal.
Ideally you just play Haunted Creeper early, the Spectral Spiders are an excellent start (as long as you don't run them in Mechazod of course, which many people sadly do), then as Mage just the stuff that helps the druid, Arcane Golem, Coldlight Oracle, Mukla, ...
some idiot just don't know how to read the word "CO-OP".
- They use their fireball to destroy your minion. - They use their skill to target your hero. OMG - They choose to draw cards when your health is low. - They use lorewalker cho on second round. - They don't know how to count!

The druid for sure has to be the player with higher skill because he sets up the combo and mage plays the mirror images. I don't know how many time mages empty their hands as soon as they get a spell and then when I drop a troggzor mirror imaged + lorewalker/millhouse for them, they have no spell left to do anything at all.
Druid is the one to set up lethal with savage roar, filling board with violet, lorewalker/millhouse combos, troggzor. Mage really just need to heal and heal, play their battlecries with bronz, and mirror image. And to save their spells for when the druid finally has enough mana to use his combos. Mage ezgame
just played a game where the opposing Medivh kept chucking fireballs....AT MY HERO. I kept telling him to stop by going "that was a mistake" and i even HEALED his hero as a show of good faith...but he just kept chucking fireballs and eventually i ran out of heals and died -____-
Random players do some much weird shit, turn 4 fireball with no spellpower, mirror entity on turn 3, millhouse/cho on turn 2, not keeping the shitty minions alive for soaking, using arcane blast turn 1, the list goes on and on.
Well concede button is there for a reason, since it happens so early you can tell how the game will unfold so don't waste your time and just concede right away when that happens.
Maybe you are right, i have not seen mechazoid use his ability that kills the highest attack minion early in the game, i only see it later, does he do that in the early game with just one weak minion on the board? I only see him powering up, hitting both players in the face, or throwing 3 barrel bombs, and this is the main reason why i like turn 1 Zombie Chow.
Just going to chime in on this. I've played a lot of this brawl and zombie chow turn 1 is bad, but usually it typically heals for at least 4 like you said. It's possible to heal for 0 and 2 though. That's why it should be played later. The boss can power up and then kill it with the prioritize attack. It's totally random what mechazod will use, so early on he might prioritize and attack an empty board doing nothing. So it's better to keep an empty board early on.

I think this game is more on the mage. I played 4 games and won only the last one. I was playing as mage. The issue of mage bing moron has nothing to do with the mage itself but with unskilled players playing with them. (who else lost a minion to a fellow mage spell? Did they even read the week rules?).
You are the one with the Armor, the secrets and the damage spells. I always feel the druid is mostly messing around, keeper of the grove and the +2 spelldamage are his best cards. I think it's the druid that has Cho too.
My other problem was that the decks were a bit underwhelming. My druid buddy played millhouse and Cho on the same turn (nice move) and I had only 2 spells in my hand. One of those spells was the Mirror Entity that, together with the Animated Armor, won us the game, but still...
I mean, is too much to ask that they allow us to make our decks? It's one example where makingyour decks doesn't harm new players. On the contrary, you may build a very support deck and help the new players.

I liked paladin-priest matchup more.
The fun thing is that troll mage can burst kill druid if he feels like it. Especially funny when mechazod has like 10 hp xD.
Dem trolls are real.

Try not to use your minions to attack... and just stack the board. wasn't too hard once you get the hang of it.
I just had a team mate afk and I got the win
