Initially, I liked the idea of constructed, but the player base has ruined it for me. Too many people just look for optimal decks to game the system, and that's not fun. Pre-constructed all the way for me, now.
I NEVER net-deck for constructed brawls. I start completely on my own, picking cards I think would work, play, observe what works and what others are playing and constantly tinker. It's a blast mostly because I did it myself, my win rate is somewhere between acceptable and good, and the player base hasn't narrowed it down to a cold precision until deeper into the weekend. I wish I could get that kind of self-made deck satisfaction on ladder but forget it.

that's pretty much exactly where I come down as well. when you face the EXACT same deck 90% of the time in a mode where you ostensibly can make your own deck, its worse than any constructed meta could be. that's just not interesting at all. i can at least understand why people do it in constructed, even though its sad and pathetic (ETA: I don't have an issue with netdecking in the abstract, just with netdecking braindead, over-represented decks). but in tavern brawl? I just don't get that at all. so I tend to favor the pre-constructed deck brawls that aren't quite as RNG swingy but things like Blackbeard and even Webspinners weren't too bad either, because the RNG element was lower and skill element higher than the complete random brawls like portals or crossroads (though those can be fun for a while too, especially if you do several rounds with each class and entertain yourself by seeing which classes do best, even though that is heavily determined by RNG). I do think some of the construct your own brawl ones are fun if you hit them when they first come out before everyone starts playing the same damn deck, but it tends to be extremely short-lived. the only one I really haven't enjoyed even for a game was the banana brawl
I'm just not seeing the same thing. I keep playing Brawl and see a good variety of classes. Yeah each class plays mostly the same cards, but as long as multiple classes are viable I'm happy. Are you really seeing ALL Warlocks, or whatever?

Every single Brawl, no matter what kind, seems to bring the salty hate, so I was thinking about what everyone wants out of a Brawl.
So I came up with this unscientific poll, and I'm suggesting you pick your 2 favorites. Why 2? Cuz 2 really stand out to me and I'm selfish.
For me it's the last two items. What about you? If the choices don't really fit what you're looking for, tell us more.
