Got it on the first try. My partner and I worked great with each other, healing back and forth and buffing each other's minions. Very fun Tavern Brawl and want more like it.
The RNG of his attacks makes it almost impossible. I barely won, because he decided to assassinate for 5 straight turns on weak minions. However, in all of my other games he is over clocking and hitting us both every turn so we are dead by turn 6.
All Mechazod did during my game was cast assassinate the first 16 turns, running me and my partner out of cards. If we played anything, it got axed. If not, he overclocked.
Yeah, real fun. Got my pack. Done with this garbage
It does when you first face it. If you come into it from a non-combo setup (aggro, midrange, tempo, control) you'll feel VERY weak. nothing but minions that get 1-shotted, no strong removal, and heals that just delay the inevitable once you realize he's quickly doing 10 damage to both of you and EITHER of you dying = lose.
This brawl helps to show how a game can feel unforgiving and uncontrolable depending on how you approach it. It's amazing how the deck and brawl feel stacked against you and broken at first then, once it 'clicks' everything suddenly makes sense and 'all of a sudeden' you feel you get the cards you need. Even Mech 'feels' slower now when, at first, he 'felt' like he went to 10 attack by turn 4.
It's a good example of how much your perception and you rmind affect the game.
The boss has a special attack, just for lore walker cho! Lol
Took 3 tries, 1 was an instant concede. Blessed champion did about 40 damage tanks to 1 minion and the priest 3/5 minion that gains 1 atk per character healed. That ended up with 31/5 just in time too.

And this is the pretty example of brainless guy who blame blizzard for their own incompetence. This brawl is awesome, requires good thinking, and strategy. Too bad your brain is not capable to understand that.
This brawl is the best brawl so far. I'm just a little disappointed you don't get the 10 gold per 3 wins. Each game is still quite long and you can't win everytime with random people likely. It would have at least gave some replay value... Or give us the 5 tavern brawl win quest all week long!
Really good brawl. It's pretty hard, but there are just so many ways of winning, it's really enjoyable. Plus it's a cool way to meet players :)
One thing people seem not to get : The boss behaviour is not completely random.
-When he assassinates a minion, it will ALWAYS be the minion with the highest attack. Therefore you should'nt overbuff a minion (unless you're certain you are going to attack at least once).
- Most of the time, when you have a really powerful minion on board, he will assassinate it in 1 or 2 turns.
- You have got exactly one turn between the moment you play cho and the moment he kills him. On the turn it's play, the boss will just ignore it, but on the next turn it will get killed. This is also a good way of buying you one more turn. At least, do not play Cho on turn 2, and be sure you have at least 1 or 2 spells to give to your ally :)
this one really highlights what can be done with tavern brawls and shows how interesting the cards in the game can be. being able to use the negative effects of cards like Dancing Swords, Arcane Golem, and Millhouse Manastorm to benefit your partner is amazing and really cool.
I hope they do more tavern brawls, if not, whole expansions with this play style. they just need to make some modifications to the system if they do it.
1 - they need to have a chat system for these modes. this brawl is super hard, if not, completely unfair with random people because neither player can talk to each other. if you play with a friend though and you can chat with them, the boss becomes much easier to deal with because you can plan with them. my and a friend were able to 1 shot the guy with one of their charge minions along with some attack buffs i gave them from panda duder and playing millhouse.
2 - if they cannot put a chat system in then atleast we should be able to see our partner's hand so we can plan out moves or see pretty obvious combos.
Pretty easy, both the Paladin and Priest have plenty of healing ability and minions that can be HUGE- I won my game as Priest because my Millhouse enabled him to make a 30 damage Fyola Lightbane with a divine shield. I imagine the Holy Champion could be amazing, and the Light of the Naaru could grow to be massive, but honestly Millhouse and Fyola are the MVPs of the brawl for me.
pretty fun and a bit challenging when playing with a friend, playing with a stranger is awful because he can troll or is just stupid
"Rogues do it from behind...sapped girls can't say no"
No pack no win counter. GJ blizz!
I got my pack when I lost a game with a stranger but when I played with a friend and we won, he didn't get his pack and I didn't get a win recorded.
You do not truly know someone, until you fight them.....
This brawl feels impossible. ;-;
"Your pain shall be legendary!"

Another terrible brawl. Blizz, just give up.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Rng is brutal on if he powers up or assasinates
Oh My God
Had the DREAM happening with a random ally: I play Manastorm, He plays Cho and HIS HAND WAS FULL OF BUFFS :D
Still laughing over it!
This brawl is amazing! I don't feel its too difficult at all.
Playing with a friend is real fun.
Had him keep his Millhouse until I had 9 mana so that I could do 84 damage with Icehowl.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
The only time when it's right to go turn 2 Coin Arcane golem :D
Have u also noted taht for the first time in hearthstone, emotes are meant in a positive way? :D
Do it with a friend who knows how to play. We beat it in our first try. Don't know if we were just lucky though.
