I got a Paladin who coined out Hero Power, because you know, the value -_-
I do that. I want my opponent to play mill cards to cycle my deck without overdrawing and to fill up the board so random hits do not hit faces. I want to get as many small dudes out as possible. I rather have the silver hand assasinated than a shielded minibot.
Congratulations, you've written the most contradictory & nonsensical post I've read in quite some time.
A) "I want my opponent to play mill cards to cycle my deck without overdrawing"
B) "I rather have the silver hand assasinated than a shielded minibot."
C) "I want to get as many small dudes out as possible."
A contradicts B. You want to avoid overdraw..... yet you want to hero power instead of playing a card.
B contradicts C. You want to get as many small dudes out as possible, yet you hero power instead of playing a minibot. A shielded minibot's divine shield means it is twice as likely to stick to the board, than an unshielded 1/1.
The decks in this brawl are combo decks; mulligan for your combo pieces, and hold onto the coin to make combo: earlier, or more effective.
Like either you or the other guy probably needs to be trying to lose on purpose...
Or you get fucked by rng. Have played more than 1 game?
I did 3, and all 3 were seemed like just about 0 risk of losing. Even the first one where I didn't realize the objective for like 3 turns didn't look like there was any chance of possibly losing.
I don't know how bad RNG could possibly mess things up on that fight, he never did anything that seemed like a real threat.
The only way I see that a loss could have occurred is if the other player wanted to get me (or themselves) killed.
This brawl is not hard at all, it can be annoying when mechazod just back to back over clocks and hits the face over and over again but if you slow play him flood the board, conserve Cho and some good spells for your opponent then you can get him........this brawl is so fun I find myself ignoring ladder to just play this over and over again.

When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
There has never been a game mode that displays a person's abilities better than this one. It is painful to watch players make clear misplays and just not know what the fuck to do
Hey lets turn one zombie chow, hey lets coin manastorm, hey lets not play spells after i trogzor. LIKE WTF
I had some games where the boss kept doing the Salvo thing every damn turn. Really didn't stand a chance. Other times, he rarely used it, that's when it was easier to win. Won my first game by spamming my spells while my partner's Troggzor the Earthinator was out. At the same time, my partner kept spamming 'Well played'. I guess he was really happy.

This is why this is bad : 1) If he plays assassinate, he doesn't need a creature on board, he does it even if the board is empty - it's a bug or they just thought it'd never be empty. 2) Flooding the board would make sense IF : a) your ally also plays something at turn one - but the only playable creature at turn 1 is zombie chow which makes no sense. b) Other than that, he has two chances to spread 3 rockets of 2 damage (which he usually does). If your silverhand dude is not on the board, he only spreads 2 rockets that deal the same amount 2 - to each player's face.
That is why, you are practically throwing away the coin. Not going to call you names, I'm just going to advise you to try making more sense in your moves next time, or your allies might not enjoy you very much from the very start.

Actually the brawl is quite easy... But like with so many other things in Hearthstone (for example adventures) you just need that good snowball effect to get it going. Here is some advice, I can give:
1. If you're the Paladin and going second, ALWAYS coin out your hero power. By doing that, there is a slight chance, that you'll make the boss use Assassinate, or his random damage, which will negative the damage in total you take at the beginning. If he doesn't use any of those, you'll already have minions on the board, which will then tank the random damage for you. Letting a 1/1 token tank one of his +6 damage shots is a big deal.
Since he also assassinates on empty board I call bullshit on that one.
Doesn't make much sense. If he assassinates the 1/1, you can consider yourself lucky. If he doesn't assassinate the 1/1, you have a body, that potentially absorbs his spread damage. And all of that for the price of the Coin. If you save the Coin, you might get too low to stabilize properly.
There is a 50% chance (bomb salvo & assassinate) of your T1 coin play having *exactly* zero positive impact on the game. Then, if your priest partner has no 2-drop(as they won't most of the time*), you've got another 50% chance of your T1 coin play being a complete waste.
A ~75% chance of throwing the coin away for precisely zero gain is not a smart play, it is in fact pretty damn stupid.
If you still can't grasp why it is a bad play, I shan't waste any more time trying to convince you; I just hope I don't queue into you when I play.
*if they're correctly mulliganing for combo/ramp pieces.
The brawl was fun and the decks were well made, but I wish I could build my own deck and choose my own hero. Or course, cards like hex and polymorph and silences should be nullified.
I totally disagree. This is very fun, and can be easy as long as you pay attention to certain tells and make sure you are really paying attention to patterns in the plays. I will say it is harder than any other tavern brawl we have had but that is the fun in it also, it is pointless to keep having the same tavern brawls over and over and also having easy ones. Besides you got your card pack even if you lost.
I do however agree that we need a way to chat with people. If I hear someone say ohh but then you get trolls and mean people and blah blah, cry me a fricken river and get over it. That is life. Just ignore them or shoot back twice as hard. Take pride in how good you are at kicking their butt.
It's not that hard, once you understand why certain cards are in the deck, i.e. the most reliable win is Icehowl + free Blessed Champion/s and other buffs made free by the other guy's Millhouse. I had the "Everyone Get in Here!" quest and completed it with no issues.
I had a little trouble my first few games on Wednesday, but it just takes some practice if you aren't a pro like I'm not. I've won more than half of my games today, had a lot of fun. It really isn't that hard once you learn his patterns. It's challenging, like a "boss fight" should be. Awesome Tavern Brawl.

I played paladin both time and it honestly felt so easy it was a disappointment. I guess I had lucky draws and partners, might try it again later on.
Well Met!

DUUUUDE people suck at this one

WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING

They finally implement coop, and they do it in a way that leaves me brutally disappointed. I think I'm about done with Casinostone.
Say "Wow" for RNG!

Really fun brawl and not hard at all after you played couple of games and know execly what to do every turn even with not so good player as ally.
I hope future brawls will be as good as this one or even better.

I played it once with a random teammate and beat it. It wasn't that bad. Maybe you had some bad luck. I think the trick is to just go face! lol
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.
Beat him even though he assassinated 5 huge minions. Get good.

Seriously people in this brawl are so bad, just met insanely retarded paladin that played coin hero power turn one!!!
Of course I trolled him by playing Millhouse turn 2 and of course we end of losing cause of that tard.
The brawl isn't so hard, the only you can lose is due to bad rng or extremely stupid partner. Unfortunately both happens quite often.

If it were any easier, it'd be boring, imo.
What I think about this tavern brawl
ez.

nope, its not.
