This tavern brawl is probably the best one for farming quest/gold, the games usually end around turn 5-8, it's like you are playing face hunter but more interesting. So far I'm 11-2.
more like turn 1, If they drop a legendary and you have no answer, it's GG
Yeah if you get a crazy opening it's likely that your opponent will concede in the first turns. Anyways I'm surprised how salty is this thread RNG applies in both ways, sometimes you rekt people sometimes you get rekt, Chill.
Who could have guessed that the Warsong Commander nerf would be the second stupidest thing the dev team did today? Mana costs exist for a reason, Blizzard.
This is pretty dumb. Lost my first match by overextending into a 4 mana twisting nether followed by a 1 mana twisted nether. Won my second game with turn 1 Nexus Champ, turn 2 HP (get whirlwind)>coin>gazhrilla swing for 4, oponent plays magma rager, I ww > swing for 16 gg. Stupidest brawl yet - I won't be touching it again unless I get that brawl quest.
I had luck on my side with silent assassin turn 2... the opponent never recovered, especially with some velen's chosen minions and he was playing pala and didn't get any removal. It was over by turn 4.
Played a couple battles this brawl - yep, fast, furious, weird, but still possible to use skill. It's not enough to mulligan for big minions, one needs removal. That's why druid sucks in this brawl, although getting Mulch is generally beneficial, as in this brawl it spells "Opponent draws a card" (what's the difference between drawing a random card vs drawing a random minion? Subtle), and getting t1 Aviana is THE dream, but druids don't have hard removal, and should you face a 5+HP minion, you're done for. I've found out that Warrior is a better choice than most other classes in here, due to warrior's legends and epics be pretty strong compared to others, and costs don't matter in here. Brawl takes care of swarms, Crush takes care of big minions, Mortal Strike deals decent damage, and should you need, Heroic Strike lets you go face vs some troublesome creature or finish 'em. And old combo Whirlwind plus Execute works wonders as well.
Also, this brawl does not have weapons at all, but the most funny card happens to be Upgrade!, I've used it once as a finisher vs a hunter whom I've left with 1HP and faced a lethal next turn.
It's the worst brawl by a huge margin. There already were very RNG-heavy brawls, where you just went with the flow and hoped for the best. At least those matches usually lasted quite a while, so you had time for RNG to average out somewhat. However THIS brawl is just awful. Several huge minions for 1 mana against lowly trash.
Wow i almost gave up on the Brawl mode, but they finally made one that im having TONS of fun with. I like this one even more then Unstable Portals and thats saying something :D Amazing design, crazy stuff happening all over and the fact that decks r stacked with a lot of legendaries on purpose is also pretty neat touch and makes for some interesting games (hello 3x Leeroy for 1 mana each :D) :)
Brawls that let you make a deck feel like a new thematic game mode, where you make use of new mechanics like in Adventure, but against real players. It's fun and sometimes provides truly great experience .
Brawls that make a half-random deck for you let you easily complete quests for classes you don't usually play. It also puts everyone in equal conditions - if you play well you have a ~50% chance to win even if you don't have a large card collection. It's relaxing and fun.
Brawls that rely on a single gimmick card like Unstable Portal and Webspinner are too uninteractive. You just hope to get better minions than your opponent. It's still ok, but quckly gets old.
But then there's THIS BRAWL. You have a half-random deck (spells and minions, with some forced mana distribution), but the mana costs are lowered by a random amount each turn, from 0 mana to (full_mana_cost - 1). It creates such massive swings in power, that the game becomes ridiculous. Random cards receive random mana costs, which creates something like rng by the power of 2. One player oftentimes puts several huge powerful minions for cheap while the other has some weak cards that aren't even cheap. That's the most unfun brawl since the mode's introduction. I hate to unfairly lose, while not being able to change anything and I feel bad for the opponent if I crush him/her myself. The toe-to-toe matches and lucky comebacks are really rare in my experience.
I wonder what's mentally wrong with us that are enjoying the craziness of this week's brawl, finding only sugar and laughter instead of salt. Or maybe it's mentally right?
While i don't like THIS brawl too much, I just had the best ring ever. Got archmage for 3 mana faceless for 1 in turn 4. Next turn played ice lance and dragons breath for 4 fireballs. The next turn all of the fireballs were 1 mana. GG

Lel the retard warrior is mad.
Great tavern brawl. Fun, reckless, random.
You want thoughtfully planned shit, go to arena.
Loved last brawl, hated this one.

Truly a random brawls... so it's all or nothing!

Favorite combo: Cabal Shadow Priest + Shrinkmeister = stolen Ysera
Current decks used - all low cost deck with very little craft required
Dragon Priest Patron Warrior Mech Mage Totem Shaman Pirate Rogue deck

There is a lot of steak here...
Very difficult to get anything resembling a consistent game going OR
you draw utterly useless Cards OR
the opponent drops heavy hitters (preferably with windfury) very early -> Auto-Concede.

3 x Eadric the Pure sad Mage was sad
Incredibly fun brawl but shaman sucks sooo hard in this one. Can this useless class ever catch a break?
Edit: 3 losses as shaman in a row. Totally useless. Shame on Blizzard. I give up on it.
Turn 2 Aviana+Malorne+Coin+Cenarius
Hmm well played
