It's pathetic. Card quality in boom bot is absurdly greater. I was sweating in order to keep my head above water in my first 3 runs as annoy-o-tron and just RECKT just now with boom bot deck. It's not even far from close.
This. I managed to win my first attempt as Boom Bot, but it came down to the wire (won with 2 hp left). I couldn't get anything going until after turn 10. That's a long time to play defensively.
*Update:
I got Annoy-o-tron on my next queue and the match was an absolute breeze. This brawl feels the same as the Nefarian vs. Ragnaros one where Nefarian "felt" favored.
It depends on you play style. Annoy-o-tron is more controlling and boom bot is more aggro with a lot of RNG. Different people has different play styles that they like.
Both decks are slow and bad, but annoy-o-tron's power ramps up while boom bot doesn't. So. Yeaaaaah.
Edit: I'll go out on a limb here and say that if you are a good player, you will win almost every time with annoy-o-tron. The hero powers are just wildly imbalanced.
I have played 10 games, 6 as Annoy-o-tron and 4 as Boom bot. I've won 5 of my annoy-o-tron games but only 2 of my Boom Bot. I know this isn't a large enough sample size to say for sure but it certainly feels like if you are playing as controlling as possible and are Annoy-o-tron, you seem to have the advantage.

I can imagine the blizzard mouthbreathers sitting around the table pitching this lol "Ok so one makes a shield right and then the other pings twice at random, so it like on average pings off the shield! DURP DURP DURP
Why didn't they just make it summon a boom bot? ? ? That's almost fair.
No annoy o trons cards just suck. He has 0 removal whilst boom has low cost removals and board clears a la lightbomb and twisting nether. Not to mention that his early game is way better.
Both decks suck but if you can stick a guy with annoy-o-tron, you win. The hero power allows you to just eat anything boom bots plays, for free. All your minions become bomb lobbers that deal damage equal to their attack, basically, and that's PRETTY GOOD.
Best balanced premade-decks brawl by far. Both have ways to win, it comes down to skill, combos and draws.
Annoy-o-tron is very dependant on a good start to get his heropower going though. Maybe to the point where you can concede if your board is empty on turn 4...

So far in every game I've seen it's all who can stick the first minion. That's it. And it can be hard with annoy-o-tron's deck being like 50% unplayable cards.
Mostly how it goes is annoy-o-tron either gets the good minion draw or loses. If he gets just an average draw, then boom bot needs to win above average RNG to keep up.
So. Hard to see where skill comes into play here. One deck needs to luck into drawing early threats and the other needs to luck into removing things with bombs :O
Turn 2: Both my bombs miss his 2/3, leaving him with a 2/1. This then just allows him to snowball that 2/1 into removing one extra minion every turn. Game over, because two bombs hit face.
To add insult to injury the game ended when he enhanco-mechano for windfury, then played oil that landed on his windfury guy. I mean. None of this is fun or interesting to me. Like, ok, if you weren't luckier than me, you'd have lost. You did nothing smart, you just relied on winning the RNG of the hero power and the cards.
Who thinks this is fun game after game? ?
I'm just playing to finish a tavern brawl quest then I'm not touching this again. I mean. It's a cool enough brawl but again mired in RNG.
I kept losing with annoytron and then i finally got boom bot and won! I couldnt get any bored control with annoytron early lol, i have the shittiest luck with tavern brawl! Legend in constructed but i cant play arena or tavern for shit >,<

Idk why people think Annoy a tron is
What did you expected? He's Dr. Balanced's evil spawn.
I agree.
I win most of the time as Boom Bot and lose most of the time as Annoy.
And... get that "Shuffle" Druid spell or whatever it is out of Annoy's deck please...
Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
I played once as each and won both games but I actually thought the Annoy was the better deck....at least for my playstyle
only times i won has annoy a tron was when i had weapon and oil combo so i could just hit face

Not sure how a video of two bad players going at it proves anything.
I disagree, but then again the boom bot deck doesn't really fit my playstyle.

Took me 8 attempts to win with either. Fuck my RNG, but i like Booms ability better
