I feel like even though there isn't true beast synergy with Hunter, all I've seen is Hunters and I'm actively trying to avoid it. It doesn't help to play druid getting 2x Savagery though...

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
Hunter has cobra shot, unleash the hounds, and the spell that kills a random minion.. Mage has frost bolt, arcane intellect.. well that's my first game experience
I played 3 games in a row with Priest, every time got almost completely different cards, they are randomized for sure. Flux, all you need is finding a fiend, playing 2 games with the same class vs them and every time going through your entire deck, youll find out easily.
Guessing you lost all three.
I guess it was not long until a shitty Tavern brawl came up.
After many brawls with different classes, I realized Mage is still the beast. Their spells are mostly common and powerful. Blizzard, fireball and secrets destroys most of the other classes. Their hero power is superior to other and also kill most of the beast that comes out of the little spider. They can ping their own Webspinner late game. Other classes worth mentioning are Warlock (the ability to draw card is just wonderful and they almost always have Hell Fire to save the day) and Rogue (dagger mastery is pretty sweet hero power, 2 mana able to kill 2 webspinners, and vanish also pretty good). I don't recommend Warrior for this week Tavern Brawl, except if you just wanna try your luck and have fun. Once you're out of card, most of Warrior spell except whirlwind or brawl won't save you from death.
I got a scavenging beast from the webspinners, fairly high chance of that I think, and then was able to use Unleash the hounds to clear my opponent's webspinner filled board. The scavenging beast was up to 22/10 in stats, so hunter has a big advantage there at least

Did anyone else notice the unusual high number of legendary cards from the reward packs?
When this Brawl started i received back to back notifications of people opening classic set legendaries and my list is not that big, and i've not seen that in months, when i opened the pack - also got a legendary.
Crazy brawl me druid vs priest. He went Shadowform on like turn 3 or 4 and we fought for board control for a lot of turns. He ended up (with a bit more rng on his side) getting me to 2 health but I had that Tree of Life which almost reseted the game and I managed to draw all over my deck just to face death next turn. Awesome times, we added each other after for the laughs and the 'well played'.
Some games are horrible due to rng, but it's still fun. After all, I play for the fun times!
Ok, my thoughts on the best beasts & random things that can help you win:
Starving buzzard - with little effort you can fill your whole goddamn board.
Tundra Rhino - Because it basically states "give all your creatures charge". Combined with timber wolf it's close to GG
King of Beasts - Pretty situational, but making this one a 6/6 isn't that hard
Haunted Creeper - Insane tempo if you get this one early on
And the class i got most wins as was Mage, because mage spells are insane. Echo of medvith was pretty brutal when i had tundra rhino & buzzard on the table.
And one more thing, NEVER COIN OUT 2 WEBSPINNERS ON TURN 1. You might get some tempo, but this one is ultimately about the fact which one can dish out the big boys earlier to the table. I won every single game against an idiot who did this, one with extremely bad webspinner RNG on my side (even though polymorph helped getting rid of his gahz'rilla).
I've actually found the opposite. The winner is usually the person who can turn their Webspinners into creatures faster. Obviously it's heavily dependent on luck, but the tempo advantage of being able to do a lot of the trading on your turn so you get to play creatures first is important.
I got Tundra Rhino and Malorne x 2. I felt quite bad for my opponent.

Tons o' Webspinners + combo cards? Excellent. I had an opponent concede after the thirdHeadcrack.

Let's see, SKill Command + Bestial Wrath = Millions of pissed off players
Why did Blizzard think this was a good idea for a Tavern Brawl?
That'll do, Huffer. That'll do.
Nice, owls are a great counter to savannah highmane, mukla bananas, hyena, gahzrilla, & king of beasts.

My first 7 games. Picked Mage.
6 Hunters rushed me down.
1 Paladin got a big ass Hyena on turn 4, no answer.
Super fun mode, except it's riddle with tryhard kids playing Hunter, just like on ladder. Sad sad sad...
Played once. Won with King Krush in the 10th round. Yay.
Fun to see a Brawl based entirely on RNG. Sure it's not everyone's cup of tea but if you don't take it serious the results can be hilarious.
This week's brawl is really interesting. The RNG spell aspect is really interesting and is something I would love to see more of

Agree, why they put a game mode that advantages hunters?
People already hate hunters, in this tavern brawl i got 6 hunters out of 10 players cause they want to take advantage of beasts.
I hate you blizzard, with all my hearth
played vs a friend 4 times my RNG is just too good 4/9 against him :3
rouge is the best class cause 1 HP = 2 dead webspinners.. it wins early game.
This has been my favorite tavern brawl for sure.
Druid is definitely the way to go. I'm on a 10-0 win streak with druid. Of course, could just be luck 'o the RNG.

really enjoying this Tavern Brawl! way more fun than the previous banana's one
