Let's dedicate this thread to the most broken deck of the week and discuss tech choices and potential refinements to get this deck to be as good as it possible can before this weeks brawl is over and we never get to play with it again.
YOu know whats fun? if it's late game but you've only got a couple bananas on hand, if you have tokens on board, play Flamewaker and Wild Pyromancer first, and burn your tokens out, thenSorcerer's Apprentice to go for the kill. The only hard part is not fucking up or roping.
The mirror match-up is surprisingly tactical as both players oscillate between tokening for draw, and threatening for win.
I'm still confident that, of the token Mages I've seen, the above deck is closest to optimal.
Sub-optimal cards that I have commonly come across in similar mirror decks:
Frostbolt/Fireball do not belong in this deck; they have no synergy, they're slow, and burst damage does not fit the strategy of the deck.
Loatheb.... meh, I've seen it played many times, and only once has it impacted on the game. (prevented me dropping a threat as response)
Mage Secrets.... Unreliable. Played from a mad scientist, they represent ok value. (2 mana, 2 minions). However the risk of drawing the secret into hand is significant, and if you do you're in trouble. (a slow 3-mana card clogging your hand, causing you to overdraw)
Mana Addict. Similar to Mana Wyrm. Worse at contesting the early game, but better as a late-game threat. I've never seen it perform well enough to justify inclusion. (and lowering the mana curve hurts, not helps, the mirror match-up)
The one change I think might be worthwhile, is stripping out the Acolyte & replacing it with something else.
Though at this point I'm not sure whether that replacement should be another threat, silence, Wild Pyro, BGH, or something else.
I would vote wild pyro. I've been getting bothered by conventional low curve stuff like zoo, and you don't get any aoe till your flamewakers engage. Getting hit for four with implosion is trouble otherwise

Here's my version of what you've dubbed Miracle Mage.
The most valuable cards in the deck are the 2xSorcerer's Apprentice; mulligan for them, and hold them greedily until you've got a hand comprised of:
The one pitfall that you have to avoid, is putting down too many minions & thus overdrawing when your opponent clears.
Don't be afraid to burn a few bananas in the early game to keep your hand size safe.
Oh and give yourself plenty of time; banana-heavy turns can get quite complicated to work through!
Retired the deck @ 32 wins, 3 losses. Got bored :)
How on earth do people ladder; playing the same deck over & over is mind-numbingly boring.
Back to arena for me!

I lied. Gave in & played a few more games :D

Yeah, I think the meta has evolved enough towards the various types of giants to warrant the inclusion of BGH too.
....and if you're including BGH, the clockwork gnomes should probably be replaced with abusive sergeants too.
....and then there's Troggzor. Game winning if you're ahead on turn 7, useless otherwise.
Thankfully this brawl is nearly over :)
