SO, I decided to try out the new mode. During a run of bad luck i rolled ragnaros 4 times in a row and went 0-4. Came close though! Almost got the opposing nefarian's armor down all the way... almost. Anyhow, I finally rolled nefarian and proceeded to win by turn 4.
there is zero reason for this difference in strength where playing ragnaros brings absolutely no positive outcome. Blizzard needs to nerf nefarian or buff rag. or rag's cards. or frickin' something. every stream i've watched of people playing tavern brawl and keeping records, they've gotten upwards of 80% win rate with nefarian and 20-25% with rag. across over 100 games. that's insane.
my suggestion for a nefarian nerf: no chance of going turn 1, his hero power doesn't decrease the cost of spells
my suggestion for a rag buff: lower durability of weapon, rng hero power costs 0, brawl legendary gives you a zero cost brawl in your hand upon play.
for you adamant "omg ur such an n00b can't evn win with ragnaros" players, you HAVE to admit blizzard needs to give some incentive to play the horribly inferior character. maybe a weekly like "win 3 games with ragnaros, get 3 packs" (or something else, a card back maybe? i mean i'd never grind through 20+ games of losing with ragnaros for the hope of winning 3 games).
It takes only 15 mins to find out that Nefarian is utterly overpowered. He only loses when starting cards are very bad, spell pulls are bad AND Rag has an ideal starting hand.

to win twenty times with rag you'd have to play like... 48 hours worth of games lol.

In current state, Tavern Brawl is unplayable.
is this not a weekly event on what i assume is a cycle? yeah, that's what i'm thinking about with the nerf.
