I played a couple of games against opponents I was matched up against, and then decided I was finished with this mode as it felt heavily RNG based and unfair. Then a few hours later I played with a friend and had a blast. It's a completely different experience if you are able to chat with your friend when you get an amazing combo from Nefarian's hero power, such as force of nature + savage roar. Having someone to laugh and have fun with makes this mode a blast. I suggest you try a game against a friend! With Ragnaros just try and mulligan for some solid 2-3 drops. He is equipped with better cards overall than Nefarian, it's just Nefarian's hero power can be a bit ridiculous.
TB is another gimmick to draw in new players - they have done nothing to keep the gamers interested.
its a shame, because this game has soooo much potential wasted. it has the flavor the design the potential for true competitive framework... just put on the back burner to get new money in the game.
its really frustrating and disappointing as an old-school MTG gamer from the 90's

Do you still get the pack reward when beating a friend?
