Use your hero power/weapon every turn. The Magma Rager is surprisingly difficult for Nefarian to deal with. I would even use hero power over a 2-drop minion.
Mulligan hard for early game. Flame Imp is surprisingly good, and can kill a Dragon Consort with your weapon.
Ignore your own health. This goes along with the first point about your weapon, but just ignore your health. Facecheck 7 attack minions to get better trades, hit Atramedes 4 times, whatever. It makes Golemagg and Molten Giant much cheaper.
100% with Nef 38% with Rag. Don't get lucky mulligan with Rag, you lose. Don't draw well, you lose. Nef gets lucky on wild magic, you lose. Don't get favorable hero power shots, you lose.
Mulligan for son of flame, molten giant, that 6/6 taunt. Always clear their board. Always attack with weapon. If you survive long enough, play around shadowflame, never over-extend on board since you never know what spell is coming.

Be aggresive. hell be forced to trade if you keep facing.
use cards like son of flame and fire elemental for removal. otherwise just keep facing.
Advice and additions welcome. just a basic idea.
Here's what I've learned so far:
Hit the Magma Rager button frequently. It is surprisingly effective.
As nefarian lacks any consistent way of doing 1 damage, it actually is.
and do NOT overload your self in the first 5 turns. That's pretty much insta-dead.
100% with Nef 38% with Rag. Don't get lucky mulligan with Rag, you lose. Don't draw well, you lose. Nef gets lucky on wild magic, you lose. Don't get favorable hero power shots, you lose.
Inb4 the I've won every time as rag idiots.
