People keep talking about a ruleset btw, but this doesn't really feel like "a set of rules" it's just you either play this crap hero or this overpowered hero with a lot of fun rng cards. That's not really a ruleset is it?

Well, it is the restrictions/guidelines/whatever the hell you want to call it that this mode is limited to this week. That is by definition a ruleset.
Well I played once, seems there's almost no decisions to be made. So basically noob mode. If you're nefarian, the game decides what spells you get and if you're rag, the game decides what minions you kill.
But nowhere do you decide what happens apparently. Lol congrats guys.
Im a bit disappointed i counted on some customization yet blizzard decided everything for you. I hope they will make some changes in future based on players feedback. This has potential but cmon, set some rules but let us customize the decks with the new cards and our own cards.
ya, maybe it could've been more, but for a first trial run this really ain't bad. and btw, for all the people saying nefarian is OP I just beat him pretty handily. git gud.
I really don't like most of Blizzard's moves in this game, but I can say, most people are jumping the gun on this one. It's the first 4 days; and they've made it painfully clear that they care more about fun than winning. And when RNG goes your way, well that's just fun.
Nefarian is SO UNBELIEVABLY BETTER than ragnaros it's almost a free win. Twice I got rag, total defeat both time. Twice I got nefarian, landslide disgusting victory.
Is it that hard to balance this out guys? You didn't play at all or what? In 30 minutes of play I can tell this isn't balanced properly and Ben Brode's making videos about how they don't want to buff bad cards because "it takes hundreds of games of testing"?
Come on who are we kidding here guys.
It's the first week and it's a cool idea for sure, we'll see where it goes but yeah pretty sure everyone expected to have to build decks here and it seems like they didn't set it up to be like that :O But hey first week, first week...
Really funny to see people talk about balance between the decks after 3 games ;D
Actually the decks are pretty balanced. Rag is a control deck that tries to slow Nef down until he can get his second hero power.
By the way, Nef has little ways to deal with the Magma ragers you can spawn, aside from the cards he can randomly get from his own hero power, so you should abuse them.
Otherwise the plan to win with Rag is: Stall as much as you can, attack every turn (duh), then save a board clear for turn 6/7 and start abusing your random 8 damage hero power.
- Save Flamestrikes and Geddons for full boards
- Mulligan for 4/5 windfury, 6/6 taunts and 6/3 6dmg battlecry dudes
- Spawn 5/1 ragers when you can, they are better in this matchup than in "real" HS
- Coren turn 4 wins games
Now what I want to know from you guys is... does anyone know if there's any point in getting tons of wins? There's a win count but I can't figure out if there's anything you can unlock at any point.
It's incredibly easy for this mode to be insanely fun, but not with this completely retarded ruleset.
Holy crap, where are all these retards coming from!?
Almost makes me think the first few posters are the same person.

Can I not access this shit on mobile yet? At work ...
If anyone is interested...
I like it.
i think brawl is awesome

Strange - I had Ragnaros as my first game, and I won easily...
Ok completely terrible lol.

How can Rag even win when he starts 2nd on 1 mana, while Nefarian go first and with 5 mana? Lol.
I wonder how many Rag players are failing to attack with their weapon every turn? The guy I just played against certainly did...

I am not dissapointed of the Brawl, I am dissapointed that I CAN'T EVEN TRY IT!!!
Record so far:
Nefarian - 5-0
Rag - 0-5
Literally not worth playing if you get Ragnaros.
Utter balance failure to a degree I've never fathomed possible from a human being. Lol. How? What? Who is responsible for this?
