i dont know what youre talking about, the people who truly want to have fun will build their own decks. Plus, we should wait for full details for it and find out.
Why add the mode in then, why don't people just truly have fun in ranked and casual? O WAIT IT'S BECAUSE NET DECKS DESTROY THEM AND IT'S NOT FUN.
no point giving my opinion to ignorant people, enjoy your game mode :-), hope it's fun for the first 1 hour until you realise it's rank 2.0
"I just wanted you people to support my rant post. Why wont you whine with me?"
Brawls will be changed weekly. With every new set release it takes more time than that for the format to settle, and for the actually good new decks to get seperated from crappy decks someone got lucky with. Additionally, playing original decks is viable even on ranked mode. Sure they will have a hard time getting you to legend, but i get rank 5 or better every month with less than 100 games and i've always played my own creations.
Making a deck that will stand it's ground in an environment that will last for five days should not be hard. If you're just bad at building decks though, that's not a problem of the game, it's yours.
BUT ARKS IT TAKES AGES FOR THE META TO BE SETTLE, no it really doesn't making strong decks now that people are familiar with all the cards in the game will take 1-2 days of theory-crafting tops, thus will result in players using decks they find online.
You have to keep in mind that the current understanding of the card's effectiveness are based on the current rulesets that we have. If you add in some sort of new rule it is very likely that it will shake up the common notion of what card is actually good and with what. Therefore yes, the meta would still take a long time to settle. Very comparable to when Grim Patron decks were just starting to be made.
Also arks, if you want to be taken seriously I would highly suggest that you try speaking in a more respecting manner and not be so patronizing in the delivery of your posts. It will help with people being more willing to listen to what you have to say.

I agree, but I still feel like there won't be a massive learning curve when it comes to creating challenge decks, however I could very well be wrong.

I'd say that "good decks" can be made fairly easily, but the level of "optimized decks" that we currently see on ranked probably won't be showing up in the 5 days time.
I think you are jumping to conclusions. We have no idea what the Brawl mode is going to be like so it's way too presumptuous to assume people even have the option of netdecking. For instance, if the deck is pre-built and randomly drafted (such as in the adventure class challenges or arena) then that alone would throw everything you're going on about out the window.

And honestly, I HOPE I am wrong, I love hearthstone, but, from the small amount of info I can piece together, I am attempting to voice my concerns as to the possibilities of what could potentially happen, I really do hope I'm wrong, the mode itself if implemented 'correctly' sounds amazing.
People are missing the point a little. You won't be net-decking in Tavern, as there will be rules in place, lik "No spells" one day, maybe no legends the next etc .. Well, I hope they have enough challenges in place that make it very hard to just rip someone else's deck, should be unique every time.
Also, netdecks in casual work because people want gold, and to train with their netdecks. So why would be that appealing to create each week a deck wich you can't train enough to try to get it to legend (or to see if its playstyle fits you)? If you can netdeck for tavern brawl, why is it better than netdecking in casual? At the moment we know nothing about the rewards of this mode out of the launch event (except the dailies and 3 wins 10gold thing). So, at least as long as it is'nt more rewarding than casual mode, why would you netdeck a tavern brawl when you can surely netdeck something better and more solid in casual?
Time will tell, but at the moment I have a good feeling about this.

I guess it's almost going to be entirely determined by the rewards really, if brawl isn't offering anything on the plate, then people might just go back to casuals and whatnot, but I highly doubt after youtubers / streamers saying the rewards system is bad that they will released something just as poor as their current rewards system.
Well, I'll guess we have to wait and see. I've noticed a lot of negative attitudes in this forum regarding things that doesn't even exist, in many different threads and topics. Let's discuss the "problem" when there actually is one. Why tavern brawl won't befun. Make it a question, don't start with a statement.

I'll admit the title was a bit attention whoring
Why can't you have fun against net decks?

Because playing the same deck every second opponent isn't fun nor stimulating, especially if people maximize value and create decks which stomp others.
will be fun or unfun on weekly basics _ all depends on rules set.
the thing that worries me is actually lack of entry fee _ if blizz wont make cash with this mode, whats gonna keep them on tinkering with cool rules sets for more than month?
I actually hope for entry payment as seen at arena - i dont care much about rewards now.
I am pretty happy that it is free. You might have enough Gold, but most People don't have it. Some can just Play one Arena round every two days or buying a pack every two days. For those it becomes too hard to enter. And when you are not interested in ranking then you don't have so many things which motivates you to Play. Furthermore, i think that this Play mode can incentive People to spend more Money, when it makes crappy Cards more attractive. The main reason i like to have a full collection is to have all Options when i Play PvE. Therefore i started to buy packs. If it would be just about ranking i wouldn't have done that, because i had already most of the good Cards and could Play almost every famous deck of the current meta.
this thread makes me want to create a new website: www.Brawltopdecks.com ...(do you actually have nightmares of 'netdeckers' killing your family or what is it with this obsession ...)
seriously though guys, the thing will be on for a f... week, no one will put the time into refining the decks! the "real sharks" out there refine decks to be strong in ranked, the fact that those decks are used in Casual is just a by-product as those decks are 100% convertable between modes. No one aims competitive decks at casual and no one will really aim those decks at brawl - it just isn't worth the effort ...

As long as they don't try to balance everything idc. Besides net deck doesn't always mean anti-fun

If your opponent attempting to win a game is not fun for you, then no, Tavern Brawl will not be fun. For you.

Kind of like saying "I am taking my ball and going home"
