StaffThis Brawl uses Wild Deckbuilding Rules.
The gimmick is that both players get 4 presents on their side of the field, but killing the presents gives discounted legendary minions. Decks that can kill the presents fast are going to be strong.

Destroying your own minions in this one gives the cards to your opponent. In older versions of the brawl, this wasn't always the case.
You are confusing this brawl with the one where a present gets dropped on each side of the field every couple turns. In that brawl, whoever destroys the present gets the reward. In this brawl it has always been that the rewards go to the opponent of the destroyed present.
