In the current brawl, if Sargeras, the Destroyer gets summoned by Voidcaller its abilites don't work. Do you have to play it to use them or is it a bug?
Edit: I found another thread where they explained it. The abilities are dependant on the portal summoned by its battlecry, which obviously doesn't trigger if the card is summoned from your hand.
not a bug - it needs the portal created by the battlecry in order to perform abilities, so if you summon there is no portal and cant use abilty
