Best HS grind ever. Achieved 3 Times 12 wins. Average 7-8 wins. Played a fair amount last week. Got 3,2k dust. 1 golden legendary and 2 regular ones lol. Dont know hoe many packs i got, but i was pretty lucky what was inside those packs. The first two days i played the shark rogue and couldnt get higher than 10, but everytime i lost VS maly Rogue or priest. So i decided tot craft malygos and after that the 12s showed up :)
Only played it twice with shark rogue (of my own concoction not the netdeck). 7 wins the first time 8 wins the second time. I wanted to play it more but didn't have time. It was fun even with all the mirror matches. I like it when the brawl is completely broken sometimes. I don't want it to be like that all the time but it is fun to attack with a massive creature on turn three.
Good, seeing as how I stumbled on Shark Rogue before most. Managed to get some 12-wins out of the way before the mirror became too common.
I'd have liked to be able to experiment more with some meta-breaker-y type things, but I wasn't going to be trapped into paying too much gold just before an expansion.
Played 4 runs in total. 12-3, 9-3, 8-3 and 4-3. Three runs as a Rogue and one as a Priest. It was fun but very RNG / draw dependant which is why I didn't feel like grinding it out.
Did 10 runs with the Priest OTK deck. At first it felt grocely overpowered, but then it turned into a "who-knows the-Priest-vs-Rogue-matchup-best-Fest". I managed 78 wins with the deck, but unfortunately never got to the magic 12 before the brawl felt like a bore. It was fun to play this powerlevel a few times though. Banning a few cards (Shark, Malygos, maybe a few others) would make it a better and more diverse experience for sure.
i think it was great for the guys who had the cards for the rogue in terms of the grind to get more gold etc but for the guys who don't have the cards and not wanting to craft before expansion wasn't fun at all only cause everyone played rogue and their mothers, fathers grandparents bla bla bla.........
It's awful. Even the games I won sucked, I felt bad for my opponents. I totally didn't do any research though, as I didn't realise deathrattles that spawn minions are useless as they spawn 1/1s, so my bad. I should have just made a combo deck. One game the opponent otk'ed me with a violet worm, I was like damn why didn't I just do that.
6-3 with the broken board-based rogue deck that only lost to 3 matches where other rogues top decked Malygos OTKs.
Seriously, all three losses were because of top deck Malygos OTKs. It was wild.
I can't say the brawl was particularly fun, since I don't care for combo/OTK as a meta game (highly draw dependant, since whoever draws their combo first wins). Also, the rewards for brawliseum are surprisingly low, given it costs so much to get in beyond the free ticket they gave us. Arena is a far better investment for your time and gold/money. I never have any incentive to invest in brawliseum beyond the free run they give you.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
I opened my packs today and just got 5 legends from 53 packs, oondasta, malacrass, jan'alai, zentimo and griftah, couple golden cards and golden epic, also 2800 dust from copies. Not bad as free stuff.

What? Reward structure exactly the same as in arena. And you get 10g for 3 wins. And this brawliseum is much faster than arena. So in terms of "investment for your time and gold/money" tb is far better than arena.
It was a nice change of pace, it was fun to see how deep I could get with my decks. It did come at the expense of unbalanced brawl decks being more of a problem than most weeks. By Friday 95% of my opponents were the same 3 decks. It took away the ability to experiment and play.
Last issue; if they are going to do a format like this they should be more willing to ban cards from the brawl. I think Alexstrazsa should have definitely been banned. 100% of decks should have had her and those without are just at a massive disadvantage. There were a few other cards that probably should have been up for the ban hammer.
I wouldn’t like this format every week but it is a nice way to change up the brawl experience.
10 games, 7 against malygos decks. And because it was brawliseum I couldn't even try any of the decks that I encountered as I need to save for the expansion. Pretty much the worst time for them to do this brawl.
Easy to get high wins, much easier than with other brawliseums. I ended up with more gold than I started with and got some free dust and a lot of packs on the way.
Tradeoff: everyone was playing the same deck. Very boring.
I got a bunch of 12 wins and 11 wins on the first day, dropping down to an avg of 8 on day 2. Sadly, I was on a plane and jet lagging for the remainder of the brawl
Aside from the load of gold, I got 2 legendaries; one from a 11-win run reward and one from a reward pack. Too bad they are both unplayable
Overall, it felt great. To you all complaining about it being an netdeck or who-draws-their-combo-first brawl, you're wrong. The skill lies in the deckbuilding and preparation, less in the execution of games. Facing the same tempo rogue all day is a good thing; it means a deck that consistently beats them will be rewarded well. Exploit their netdecking! If the opponent drew their combo first, perhaps they are lucky, but more likely they drew it first because they put a more efficient draw engine in their deck
Literally all the netdecks I've seen in the brawl could have been improved upon. The combo decks could have been structured to draw faster, and at the same time, contained more answers to tempo rogue. The tempo decks were all missing a few really broken cards that no one seemed to be playing. Again, spotting where decks could be improved is where the skill lies. I was very rewarded for it last week
Not a fan, I did 2 runs but that was it, facing the same deck again and again, super boring.

Idea is very good but plays against the same deck (rogue) over and over was very boring.

So good 1.5Gold - 1500dust 1 legendary and 5 golden cards.

5-3 on my free run with a token druid deck. Every game was decided on turn 2.
Glad I didn't spend money on it. Once it was obvious that certain decks were broken, there was no way I was going to spend 150g to experiment.
Its too bad because it would have made a fantastic regular brawl.

11 games, 9 malygos rogues. So annoying.
There is only my justice now
