Maly rogue seems good based on the last mini warfare brawl, but I don't think Curator will be allowed if this brawl uses standard. Are they still banning OP cards for brawls like this, even if they are standard?
Anyway, without the Curator, I was thinking maybe that shark totem would work, since it could be used to draw extra cards off the battlecries, or pump up Edwin, or draw extra minions with the minstrels...
What do you guys think? Has that deck become any more optimized with cards from the last two expansions?
Will Baku work even if you have even cards in your deck? Or will the effect be applied after the Start of Game check? Also curious if Genn will work.
The cards become 1 mana 1/1s when you draw them (or summon them via some recruit mechanic) while on your deck they have their original cost and stats so baku won't activate if you have even cards.
This isn't going to be friendly to a noob at all. Between Maly and Alexstrasza and all sorts of other legendaries that will kill me in seconds, I'm pretty much screwed. Best just take my 1 pack and find something else to do...
I changed my deck , Crystology does not work in this Brawl all you minions keep their cost and stats while being in your deck ,also replaced mad hatter with vicious fledgling , witch wood piper draw you the fledgling now.
How much did it rely on Gral? I'm thinking about trying Maly Rogue instead, because I don't have Gral or Sonya.
And do you think a hybrid of this deck with Maly would be any better, for that matter? Like just another win condition?
I actually (accidentally) played Ashmore instead of Graal. So I didn't rely on it at all. You don't need it. It's just more draw and a minion that will probably be out of range of ping AOEs. You can play Frostwolf Warlord or Faceless Manipulator instead. Both will work fine.
With this deck, most games were over by turn 6. A secondary win condition seems unnecessary.
And a sneaky bonus this deck has over many others is that it doesn't play anything that costs more than 1 mana. That is the definition of tempo. If you're spending mana on spells, I'm usually pulling ahead of you.
Sorry for this post, but I just dealt with the most insane turn 3 board. I was facing the popular buff rogue deck and my lord godfrey just destroyed them. Mecha'thun lock ftw.

Sweet. So people are already copying my build? :) I only played 2 mirrors on my 12-win streak. There were a ton of priests and maly rogues, instead.
Does anyone know if handbuffing works?
Oh there are not welp here is a Paladin deck

Odd works, dunno about Genn, wouldn't try it. but I picked odd paladin and got destroyed since this brawl is full of easy board clears and OTK
Does corpse widow give discount when played?

Glitch with Lady in White. The minions keep their improved attack even when miniaturized. Nasty.
Does helpless hatling reduce the cost of card to zero?
Handbuffing works - just saw someone play a buffed Hir'eek, the Bat. It's finally time for the bat to shine.
What about Keleseth?
I'm thinking on using either Exodia Mage, Maly Druid, Maly Rogue or Mecha'thun lock.
[edit] Going with Mecha'thun warlock.
My list looks like so:
12-win decklist, courtesy of me. (12-1 overall.)
You don't need to be cute. Just go face.
