You're going to have more than one Kingsbane because of the refills, so use cavern shinyfinder to pull the extra so you always get the buffed one. Also, doesn't hurt to have multiple buffed copies either. Mage conceded on turn 6.
Played a warrior deck with some armour, removal and draw cards. It has no win condition except making your opponent concede after a horribly long game. Quite funny to see burn mages being unable to burn through the armour generation.
This is awesomely evil, especially win you know there'll be tons of mages in the brawl for yet another week. I salute your dedication and time spent toward their misery.
Just tried this but ran Cold Blood instead of Backstab. You can't play the Shadowstep on an empty board, and I suspect the same is likely true of Backstab, so my Turn 1 Edwin VanCleef was only 10/10, but the Shaman still conceded instantly. Lulz
Innervate, Moonfire, Biology Project, Claw, Jade Idol and Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Start with Biology Project and don't play auctioneer until you can also play couple of extra cards after that, like Innervate, moonfire and another Biology project. I'm sure someone could enhance this idea, like changing Jade Idol to something else, but was good enough to clear my open daily quests.
Quest mage is pretty nuts... you can set up infinite turns with 7x Sorcerer's Apprentice on the board, completing the quest as many times as you like. No need for Archmage Antonidas.
The cards you are given to refill your deck DO count towards the quest...

Ahaha oh my god I have to try this..
I got an EZ win with Hunter using Candleshot, Hunter's Mark, Dinosaur Egg, Bomb Toss, Carnivorous Cube and Void Ripper. Happy days.
A great recipe for LOTS of unexpected outcomes (at least three opponents conceded mid-game because they cba to let it unfold anymore). Much faster than ramp + Yogg and vs. slower decks you can amass tons of armor.
Had to play a bunch more tavern brawl today since they added the quest for it. Enjoyed this Warlock deck I built to satisfy TB quest with Warlock win quest at the same time:
Try to have soularium, soul infusion and doubling imp in your starting hand. You'll draw one more card, but you're nearly guaranteed to discard one or two of the three cards you WANT to discard (golem and clutchmother) on turn one. Pretty fun. Got some good wins, including one against tempo/wyrm mage. Lost to Exodia as you'd expect, and another discolock who built a strong board faster than I could.
The camel will fetch the 4/3 or another Hatchling, even though it might give your opponent a free Flame Imp but that's okay. And starting from turn 3 or 4 your opponent will be in for a somewhat big surprise.

never go full northshire, even with infinite deck.. turns out you can fatigue if you have a full hand.
Used this myself...
Kingsbane easy mode:
Kingsbane
Deadly Poison
Doomerang
Leeching Poison
Cavern Shinyfinder
Tinker's Sharpsword Oil

It's broken. Plan on seeing Coldlight as frequently as you saw Jaina last week.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

Iron Juggernaut is also banned, but Seaforium Bomber is not.
EZ Game EZ druid, just use core card of the OP Tier1 decks and it's done
T4 full mana and you start to UI / branching path
Combo such as (with Twig on): Banching path double armor, 2-mana spell + Twig again + UI => rince repeat => GG
That's 29+ armor, a enemy minon removal, a 5/5 minon, full hand draw (not bad for a T5 turn)
Wild Growth
Twig of the World Tree
Ultimate Infestation
Branching Paths (against burn or cycle)
Wrath (against mana wyrm or cycle)
Lesser Jasper Spellstone
Then depending of your need
Spreading Plague (for synergy with Branching Path)
Swipe
Ferocious Howl
Naturalize

How to beat mage? Quest variant impossible to beat, literally. Not sure why mage isnt banned in this brawl.
check me check me !!!
Don't you mean rogue?
You can hard counter mage with a secret hunter build.

Had to play a bunch more tavern brawl today since they added the quest for it. Enjoyed this Warlock deck I built to satisfy TB quest with Warlock win quest at the same time:
# 1x (1) Soul Infusion
# 1x (1) The Soularium
# 1x (2) Clutchmother Zavas
# 1x (2) Demonfire
# 1x (3) Doubling Imp
# 1x (3) Silverware Golem

Had a Hunter quest so I switched from my pseudo-Yogg Mage to Rex. Didn't want to play standard Aggro though so here's my "surprise" take:
The camel will fetch the 4/3 or another Hatchling, even though it might give your opponent a free Flame Imp but that's okay. And starting from turn 3 or 4 your opponent will be in for a somewhat big surprise.
