Isn’t this a bannable offense since your playing cards in a match that is meant for standard cards. I’ve already played against 3 people who played wild cards as well.
I was wondering why there was "standard" on the name of the brawl, as my opponents kept using Coldlight Oracle, Metaltooth Leaper against me. Nice design.

I wouldn't think it is bannable. You can obviously choose and use the card so it's blizzards fault. I find these mistakes disappointing for the money the game makes.
It happens because if you make a deck from a deck code, the wild cards get put in. It's not fair if they're doing op mechwarper shenanigans but who doesn't want another chance to wild growth yogg?
It's not like the addition of wild cards alters the dynamic of the brawl. It's still paper rock scissors. I have been cleaning up with Acidic Swamp Ooze and Stubborn Gastropod. It can't beat mage unless their missiles all go face, but bloodsail rogue and big druid cry.
Basically, you can use wild cards in this weeks Tavern Brawls by getting the deck code.

Just happened to me. Wtf Blizzard
Who will we blame now that Brode is gone?
Just happened to me as well! Faced a Metaltooth Leaper + Mechwarper deck all of a sudden. I wondered how this could happen!

I was wondering how the hell my opponent had Coldlight Oracle...
Yep, no server-side check. Cards show up in red and 'replace' button shows, but the game lets you queue up anyway.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Small indie company...

Well thank god I ain't playing this tavern brawl
It’d suck to get banned because of this, but wild versions are always fun.
Fite me.
