So much fun. Tier 1 deck (Paladin) vs 8 mediocre or bad ones.
Except that I haven't lost with any class yet to a single Pally and that both Mage and Rogue lists are pretty well balanced ..! ^^ Picture this brawl as a sand box to get to know better each new archetypes ... ... or don't and play the same old standard deck you'd play anyway
Wow, what a waste of a Brawl. Why would they even bother? This is just standard, except you are playing other peoples' decks for no rank, and considering netdecking has already created all these decks it is completely pointless.
Okay, maybe one point, you get to play with cards you might not own. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I don't get how so many people are unsatisfied with this brawl. What exactly are you looking for in this game? I personally found this brawl really fun, letting you play with new cards that you might not have and test decks to see which ones you find most fun and might want to craft. You can also only choose from the witchwood decks so you're playing the meta they were trying to create with this expansion. Of course no one plays control hunter or such in standard so it's a bit refreshing. Some decks have more flaws than others, but none of them are overpowered. I've faced a variety of classes and all of them were very fun to play against.
Yesterday I played a rogue mirror, where I got Sonya Shadowdancer from Blink Fox and spammed Phantom militia with her in play. As his deck has no board clear, he had to remove every minion with his minions so I ended up with multiple 1-cost phantom militia in my hand. I made walls with them as I managed to deal damage consistently to his face. In the meantime he played face collector in 2 turns, using the Zola he got from the first one. He was at 3 hp with his board full of legendary minions. I managed to pickpocket razorpetal volley and perdition's blade, ending the game just as I'm about to die. All in all a very good brawl.
