I played the brawl 3 times now with my own decks but just cannot beat all these tier 1 dudedin, cubelocks and spitefull priest. I went for: 3L-0W, 3L-3W and 2W-3L. Allllll netdecked tier 1 or 2 decks.
Is nobody bringing their own fun decks? I was just wondering.
I'm bringing my own version of Malygos Druid and having mixed results. I got to 10 wins once but the other tries have gotten me between 3 and 6 wins. I've been seeing a lot of secret mage, dude pally and cubelock which I can definitely beat but not all of the time and it's pretty hard to build a deck that counters all three effectively. Still, I've been having a lot of fun with it.
Renojackson went 5-0 with an autofill hunter deck. Does that count? :D

I understand, but shouldn't it be fun if you have your own deck and try to see how well it does in a competition? Or am I the only one thinking this way? Maybe it is just me being a bit tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again. For some reason I thought this brawl would be a bit different than ranked.
I'm playing my own version of Secret Paladin with some cards from the last sets and doing pretty well on this brawl (10-3, 6-3, 8-3 and currently 3-0).
"Self made" at this point is basically tweaking a known archetype. The powerlevel is far too high for Elelemental druids and mech warriors to have a chance...

I spent 1100 dust crafting Secret Paladin.. It's only got me 5 wins so far of the two attempts at trying. Should probably go for a third seeing as I spent the dust for it.

Please don't tell my girlfriend about my card collection...
I went 12-1 with my own secret Hunter build. Does great against mage and eats up paladins. It even has enough burst to kill control before turn 5. Only lost when I literally didn't have any plays till turn 4, even though my most expensive cards are a rexxar, 2 spellstones and 2 4 drops. I have 7 1 drops and 10 2 drops.
I made a 12 win run with my free ticket ,using a ''self'' made controllock.Basically standard rinlock but tweaked to have the old goodies like malganis, healbot and belcher. Then i made a 6-3 run with a yolo renolock for shit and giggles. After that i didn't bothered to play again since this is basically wild ladder on tryhard mode.

Well, it is a competition.....
Why should people build new "bad" decks? ^^
If your name is kolento or savjs it could work.

Who am I? None of your business. :P
I got 4 win with my jaina.Reno.nZot, but can't beat face overload shaman
The non whales need the rewards to get enough gold/dust for fun decks. (And of course there are also spikes, who mainly enjoy winning.)
Anti warlock deck. Simply kill them after the Naga Sea Witch turn.

This is sad, but true.
another 3 losses 0 wins. Ok I am done playing my own stuff against tier 1 decks. I will play Spiteful Priest or cubelock in the brawl from now on.
