Seriously blizzard needs to do sth with the tavern brawl mode. I see that less and less people play a brawl over 2 or three times. Today is actually the first day of the brawl and I played 7 games in a row against the same opponent. Then there was a different opponent whom i faced 5 times in a row.
Last month I received the statistics email by Blizzard congratulating me for having 32 wins in a tavern Brawl. The sad part was that people in my region averaged 2 wins or so. I know you cant please everyone in a format like this (I myself did only one win in the previous brawl because it was way too random for my taste), but these numbers are disheartening.
Also, if you find that you're queuing into the same player, wait a few seconds before requeuing. If you both enter the queue at the same time, you're likely to hit each other, and this is abusable in Ranked, too.
No, that's not the case. I even tweaked the deck in the meanwhile before queuing with the same opponent some times and some others I just waited to queue for a very long time.
Another swing and a miss from the game maker. It had potential, don't get me wrong, and it was refreshing after last week's trash reprisal, but I digress. The main problem is that you keep running into casino decks - decks which get slaughtered or win outright because they have a few cards, a bunch of shadows, a wing, and a prayer. Don't feel bad about losing to priest, they are probably jumping up and down celebrating their first win in 10 tries. It is one of the only construction brawls in recent memory that looks like a one and done. To the devs, I give an E for effort.
The key to deckbuilding in this brawl is to have enough "core" cards that you avoid the situation of drawing nothing but shadow reflections, while still being able to take advantage of being able to copy your key cards.
won it 1st try with a token druid deck, won a few more with priest (kind of a joke how broken it is) trying to make a mech hunter deck work, with leaper for the otk
I thought I was done with running into Jade Druids, could ride out the rest of the Year of the Mammoth without running into three of them in a row....until I got the win 5 Tavern Brawls quest today. Noooooooo! LOL.

There's also the balance between combo, hate, and draw as well. I'm currently at 4 combo cards, 4 hate cards, and 7 draw, which may be too few reflections when I need 5-8 and most of the draw just cycles, depending on pings/Thalnos (usually 7 reflections, though, for 28 damage). Fun to tweak, though!
What do you mean by hate cards just out of curiosity?

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
