Can someone explain to me why when I play a devilsaur egg, I get a 0/3 singularity and a 5/5 devilsaur at the end of my turn, but when my opponent does, (s)he gets a 5/11 singularity at the end of turn? Is there something weird going on with the timing of deathrattles and singularity formation????
After more playing, it seems that the timing of the deathrattle and void singularity combining effects are different based on who goes first. If you go first, your Deathrattle minion combines twice (for devilsaur egg, 0/3 + 0/3 = 0/6) and your deathrattle summon is also included (for devilsaur egg, 5/5) and you get the total conglomeration (for devilsaur egg, 5/11), but the second player gets a single count of the Deathrattle minion (for devilsaur egg, 0/3) and a separately summoned minion (for devilsaur egg, 5/5). This seems rather one sided. I wonder if it is a bug.
From my experience (could be wrong), if you play Devilsaur Egg on an empty board, you'll get a 5/11. If you play it with other minions, you'll get the +3 Health buff and the 5/5 Devilsaur.
If it's an empty board, the initial body gets eaten twice and whatever is dropped is eaten too, so kindly grandmother is (3/2) + (1/1)*2 = 5/4, highmane is (6/5)*2 + (2/2)*2 = 16/14, etc
It is, in fact, when played on an empty board, the initial body counts twice. That's the extra health on the 5/11 after devilsaur, it's the reason for extra 1/1 on grandmother, and it's the reason for a *cough* 16/14 *cough* minion from a single highmane.
Has to be a bug, but wow. That's a beefy 6 mana minion.
It bug. the End of turn fusion should only trigger once, but when you play deathrattle with no other minion. It'll work like this 6/5 highmane 2/2 hyena ,2/2 hyena ,6/5 Void < here where it should normally stop 16/14 void < assume that it's combine every minion which means 6/5 highmane + 6/5 void are seperated minion
I play on an empty board and I still get the 0/3 and the 5/5. While my enemy gets the 5/11. I don’t get it. Does it depend on which side of the board I aim my minion? I can’t figure out the pattern.
The conditions for the bug to occur is for you to have only 1 minion on your board, with a deathrattle that creates another minion. The bug destroys the original minion, triggering its deathrattle and creating a void, however the minion is not actually dead but rather set to die as soon as triggers resolve. Something about the new minions causes the triggers to loop back to where it would destroy your minions and create a void, causing it to destroy your void (with stats equal to the original minion), your new minions, and re-kill your original minion; creating a void with their stats total.
Nope. My golden just gave me a 5/11. I don’t see the pattern. I haven’t really tried the side of the board.
Please understand that I have played a single devilsaur egg on a clear board multiple times and gotten the raw end of the deal.
What do you mean by "the side of the board"? You can't control which side the Devilsaur is spawned on and you certainly can't play a minion on your opponent's side of the board. Do you mean that you already have a Void Singularity on the board? If so, the Egg isn't the only minion so the bug doesn't happen.

I want to go first!
Never mind. Just went first and it worked the other way.
Tumbleweed... anyone else???

Then why, when I have only one devilsaur egg on my board, do I get a 0/3 and a 5/5 sometimes, and a 5/11 other times?
Maybe it is because one of my eggs is golden???

I guess I will try to sleep without identifying the pattern. Hoped I could solve it and sleep in peace...
What they do, I think...
1) set cursor to 0/0
2) if there is 1 minion on board, put stats in cursor, destroy minion, create void with stats equal to cursor.
3) if there is more than 1 minion on the board, put all their stats in cursor, destroy them, create void with stats equal to cursor.
And they forgot to make 2 and 3 mutually exclusive.
Technically I don't think it is a bug. I think it is there to catch a player up who does not have a creature on the board.
