Absolutly luck dependent. Reminds me on heroic adventures. If he has teh cards, then there is nothing you can do. But with enough trials it is managable.
Challenging and fun brawl. For those who like it, it looks like there'll be some decent replay-ability across the three costumes, for those who don't like it, you get a completely free card pack just for trying. Win-Win.
Haven't won yet out of 3 brawls attempted. One with each class. Cat got me the closest, at least I got to see his head phase. Didn't even get close with the other two classes.
Witch seems the hardest, Cat probably easiest. I was surprised by the head the first playthrough, but managed to win the first game with pirate and cat classes, the second try with witch.
Witch is tricky because of the temptation to get greedy and get double spells, but that "fear" spell is still enough for Feral Wolves with double power of nature."All your minions count as pirates" obviously gives you great synergy with ships cannon and the like.
Blizzard again have exemplified that they cant balanced for shit. Pirates and Cats are just the worst while Witches are so easy its not even funny. Witches are the only one with big minions and the enemy cant deal with big minions and its only AOE kills 4 or less attack minions... Guess who wins here!
That minion with the Pirates that gets +1/+1 for each pirate you summon can grow to huge proportions if you hold it until the lategame.
In any event, it's a tavern brawl. I liked it because it was unexpected, from the opening hand of all Stormwind Champions to the mysterious "choose a costume" without a clue as to what each would do. Then we got another twist with a boss at the end. There's a little replay value in seeing the three lists and playing with them, but overall it's just a little bit of amusement. That it references (in the title, though not much else) a classic American horror story from my very own state of New York is another neat touch.
While I certainly like the idea of the brawl, it sure isn't very fun to play. The AI seems to have the "perfect" answers considering the cards that are in the decks. Haven't really enjoyed it in whatever case, I'm sure there's rounds where the opposite happens. Can't really complain, though, since there's a pack either way, and despite my frustration I wouldn't mind seeing more brawls like this
WTAF. Just got completely destroyed for 0-3 and not a snowball's chance in hell in any of 3 attempts. HH just had infinite answers and infinite superstatted minions (or pumpkins that do 3 damage across the board). Here I come with my Sprint and my Loot Hoarder and my Tinker's (but no weapon)...
What a week to get the "win 5 Tavern Brawls" quest :(. Total fucking jokefest. Yes it's fresh and interesting but that just makes it feel like banging your head against a fun painted wall.
I thought this brawl was relatively easy. Each costume requires a different strategy. For instance, when playing as the pirate costume, you do not want to make the head appear right away, you want to stall out the game and control the board while you make your Cookie gigantic, then kill the head in 1-2 swings.
The Headless Horseman Rides!
It's time to battle the Headless Horseman! We'll arm you with the finest Hallow's End costumes Azeroth has to offer.
Na always gets things first! :'( Feeleuman
This brawl sucks.
Way too easy

What's the prize for beating his head? I finished it with cat costume and nothing happened...do you have to beat it with all costumes?
Note: obviously not asking for the "one classic pack" answer

This brawl is terrible.
Horseman's deck is unbeatable if he has the right cards early.
It has been confirmed you dont get anything by wining with all three classes.
I just win with sorcerer and nothing so maybe when brawl is over we will get something.
That's super lame...why have the head then?

Not the best brawl, but it's kinda fun.
Best Brawl in a while : feels so fresh and new
