I am still waiting for the brawl where the first person to kill themselves wins. Reno was the one thing in the way since Embrace the Shadow + Reno Jackson was too powerful. But now that he's been rotated out, it should be tons of fun.
Not to mention that people would actually have to read the rules and can't just bring pirate warrior or jade druid!

Deathknight Showdown random decks Start with your deathknight hero power (shaman gets 2 Evolve as extra cards in hand, paladin and warrior have their weapons in hand (not equiped)
Crazed Anduin random deck Priest dk power at start, with 3 dmg instead of 2, but hits a random enemy
Full circle build your own deck Your minions that die during your turn, get re-summoned on the opponents side, minions killed during their opponents turn disappear and restore 2 health to the current hero

Love this idea. It's actually better than the deck-swap thing because in that version you'll often be best off going AFK and not playing any cards, winning if you go first (because you're at fatigue 1 card later.
It'd probably still be a priest/warlock only thing though.
Another idea to add to the pile:
A premade warrior (dead man's hand and taunts)+priest (benedictus and thoughtsteal) co-op brawl where the boss minion is immune to spells and hero powers and wins brawls.
Boss abilities would be: 1) summon a jade golem that auto attacks face or taunts 2) force both players to draw cards (milling is a threat) 3) deal damage to both players equal to jade golem size 4) deal damage equal to the current jade power to the highest health minion on the board
Actually, paladin is considered top tier because they can buff an opponent's minion and crash into them repeatedly with Light's Justice. It is a really interesting game mode with plenty of different routes to take. Here's to hoping Blizz comes around to it eventually.

Dörty Rat brawl: at the end of your turn a random minion is summoned from your hand. Or even better, a random card is played from your hand with random targets so that battlecries work and it can pull spells too
Post your fresh tavern brawl ideas for Blizzard to use. Crossroads is more stale than the coffee in an pot in an abandoned post-apocolptic truck stop.
The ideas don't have to be balanced, as it only lasts less than a week. I'll start things off:
1. Choose a class, and choose from any card from any class (that you have in your collection)!
2. Choose 6 cards from any class for your deck. The rest will be repeats.
1: Battle of the dead
Each deck is made of 20 Journey Below and 10 class cards.
2: Deathstalker's revenge
Both players have randomly created decks, but instead of their normal hero powers have Build a Beast instead.
3: Battle of Legends
Each player has 100 health and start with 10 mana, but at the start of their turn they discover and summon a random legendary minion.
4: zoo days
The curator has shuffled minions of every tribe into your deck. first player to have a board of at least 5 different tribes minions win the game.

Choicestone: Whenever you would draw a card, you discover a card from your deck instead. Could be randomized decks or build-your-own.
15/15: Build a deck with exactly 15 minions and 15 spells (this would exclude weapons or hero cards)
The Power of 3: Build a deck of 10 unique cards, the system gives you three of each, no Legendaries (to avoid Quest, DK and Patches issues).
Together Apart: Both players' decks are merged into a single 60 card deck. Both players draw from that unified deck.
ReverseStone: At the beginning of the game, the player's decks are switched. So, the goal is to build the worst deck possible!
